    Good Books?

    Hi,

I have been training regularly for around 8 months and have achieved some solid results with the advice of some trainers in the gym and friends who also train. My goal is to reach a lean (roughly10% bf) 95 kilos. Currently I am at 86 kg around 14bf %, (8 months ago I was at 75kg and about 10bf.)

The more involved in my training I get, the more I realise how little I know (hence why I joined Size Matters). I already have an OK general knowledge, but there is still so much I have no clue about; especially in regards to diet and nutrition (really starting to understand how important a good diet is!)

Anyway... I am looking for a good all-round book on bodybuilding and nutrition etc to help me understand a bit more about the sport. Does anyone have any good suggestions??

    Thanks for your help

Youve answered your own question of whether u need a book - youre a member of size matters now!
Isnt that like having a hundred books right at your fingertips each time you log in?
Ive recently joined myself, and Ive only just skimmed the top of the resources that are available here.
Of course, Im not a "bodybuilder" like yourself, so obviously you would be searching for different information in the forums. Enjoy it, and I know you will come to find all the education and guidance you desire.

Hey Challs. There are some awesome books out there and i think there might even be a similar thread about this. One book I will recommend is Arnies encyclopaedia of bodybuilding but others will add to that im sure.

As for nutrition, there is a link to milos vids on this site and the links come highly recommended by many.

    Thanks for the advice.

The info on this site has been tremendously helpful, but there is also a lot of assumed knowledge and I just thought a book might give a bit more of an overview.

My brother-in-law had Arnold's encyclopaedia about 15 years ago, I'll see if he still has his copy. I'll also check out the link to milos videos on nutrition and search the forum for threads on books too.

Thanks for the help guys, really appreciate it.
