    Strength Standards

    I just came across this link on BB.com, I found it interesting to see how I measured up. I range between novice & intermediate for my weight.

    "The standards (not norms) presented in the linked tables below represent a 1RM performance (in pounds) that can be reasonably expected of an adult athlete at various levels of training advancement using standard full range-of-motion barbell exercises with no supportive wraps or suits."

    Im not very strong... Never have been.

    I see dudes 1/2 my size out lift me every day.

    I am intermediate too... which is described as "A person who has engaged in regular training for up to two years" - that's about right for me.

    I am an intermediate bencher, and advanced for both squat and deadlift. Happy days!

    Squat: Novice
    Press: Untrained
    Dead: Untrained

    Makes me feel so shit lol.

    Correct me if I am wrong, but you have only been training a few months? so that make you a novice. Don't stress about it! the important thing is that are working on it!

    4 months roughly.

    Yeah I'm working on it, but there's something thats not going right I think
