as far as i read a few articles on it,once you determine your body type, then thats what you are,

my understanding though, and im thinking you are thinking the same, you metabolism would change over the years, again im no expert on this topic but you made a good valid point t2 and would love to hear some expert answer on it,

i am no expert, but i think your hormonal profile would be more important than your metabolism.

I am just guessing but i would bet $1 that if you looked at the hormanl profiles of each body type the endo would have naturally higher hormone levels that lead to muscle building.

rushing this have to go and pick the kids up from school.

I think T2 is asking at what age do you determine your body type.
I'd say in your prime and after you have stopped developing.
Early to mid 20's you should have a good idea?

As you age, i guess you will just be a shittier version of the body type that you were, lol.

Me too. When I reflect on my life/body type, I was one type up to about 20 years of age then once I was married, things turned to crap, physically.

Up to 20, I would have been predominantly meso, but nowadays I'd probably be more endo, although a mixture of both is probably more likely today.

    LOL....

fair points: I was basically the same from the start of high school (puberty) up until I got fat and lazy after getting married at 19. As a teen, certainly tall and athletic; lean; strong.

Now? Well..... let's move on. :)

Ok but once you identify your body type then what???

I find this article kind of useless because most people already know what body type they are, and if they don't i can pretty much sum up that whole article (which has taken them a whole page to write) in one sentence simply by:

    If you are skinny=ecto, built=meso, fat=endo,

Also what is the point of even knowing your body type??

if your an ecto: then your gonna have to eat a shit load and it's gonna be a shit fight to put on muscle...
if your a meso: just don't even worry about it you have nothing to worry about...
if your an endo: incorporate cardio in your week and don't go to hectic on carbs and fats make them a small percentage of your diet...

Basically is there any more to it than this?? because if there is i have clearly missed it and can someone shed more light.

:) Just make sure before you plunge; losing my wife was the most painful experience of my life. Will never fully recover.

And by making sure? I mean; be prepared to do/be whatever it takes if you truly love her and want to be with her forever. I changed way too late in life to save my marriage.
