    chest definition.

    G'day everyone,

    what is the best exercise for the centre of my chest,to get that square pec look? I have a fairly thick chest but just can't seem to get any improvements doen the centre.Should I be doing more defining exercises like cable cross-overs,flyes?

    I just use a peck deck, seems to hit the centre of my chest pretty well. And I LOVE dips to work the whole area....

    Personally, I like to hit it at the end of a chest work-out with variable positioning on cable x-overs with VERY strict form, and even add in incline x-overs (i.e. kneel down, place cables low, and perform a x-over like you would an incline flye). Dips are great, I agree, as are reverse dips (hands turned inwards). After these "finishing blows" I like to do a little posing in the mirror (when no-one is watching ;) ) and hold each squeeze for about 15 seconds, varying arm positions to see the best contraction.
