Double T-Sports NO-Beta Bulging Biceps test

This isn't 'officially' going to be part of the contest which is well and truely over, but Supplements Direct were kind enough to provide me with a couple of sample packs so it's only fair that I agree to use 1 sample on this bicep challenge.

I'm relatively new here so a bit about myself for context:

31 yrs old, been training for 3 years but damaged my back quite severely when I first started out. My back has never healed, and never will fully so I'm restricted in what I can do. Anything that involves bending is out (BO rows, Deads) and I need 100% perfect form on every lift to ensure I don't damage myself further.
I just recently started squats again, doing 1 x 20 @ 55Kg twice a week to try to strengthen my lower back and build up my chicken legs. Since squatting I have bulked up considerably, I believe this to be due to the testosterone boost caused by doing the 20 rep squats.

I'm about 175 cm tall and weigh 78Kg - not sure of bf%, maybe 15-20% all on my belly.

My usual weights for the bicep exercises in this routine are:

EZ Barbell curl - 37.5 Kgs for 3x10
    Standing DB curl - 17.5Kgs for 3x8
Machine Preacher curls - don't have this in my gym so will do normal preacher curls with the EZ bar - 25Kgs for 3x10

I'll probably drop the weights to about 50-60% of this for this challenge, which I'll do on Friday this week.

Hmmm, can't really report much on this. I only took 4 of the tablets as the pack stated that 5-6 may be too many for some people. I'm quite small and have never taken any NO supps before so decided not to go for the whole lot. I guess I should have, as I noticed no difference to normal.

I'll try again next week, but this time I'll do all 6 or maybe 8.

Second attempt. This time I took the full recommended dose of 6 tablets. After about 20 mins I felt the tinglyness on my back, hands amd face - weird feeling but at least I knew the stuff was working this time.

Strangly, the tinglyness was at its strongest just as I was finishing this workout which took me about 20 mins to complete so I'm not sure if it hadn't fully kicked in during my sets?

    1. How many tablets of NO-Beta used

    6

    2. The exercises performed

    EZ bar standing curls
    DB standing alternate curls
    Preacher curls

    3. How much weight used

    EZ bar standing curls 3x8 @ 25Kg, 1x8 @ 20Kg
    DB standing alternate curls 3x8 @ 12.5Kg Db's, 1x8 @ 15Kg Db's
    Preacher curls 3x8 @ 25Kg, 1x8 @ 20Kg

    4. Details about how your biceps felt during the sets of the workout

Less pumped than normal, perhaps due to using lower weights?

    5. Details about how you felt using a stimulant FREE pre-workout NO booster

Tingly. Other than that no real difference

    6. Details about how your biceps felt in the end

    Fine

    7. Rate the workout and NO-Beta on a scale of 1 to 10 with a combined overall rating

    n/a

I won't give this product a rating because for me, it did nothing. Maybe I took the instructions too literally both times I tried it, the first time I believed that 6 tablets might be too much so took 4 and they had no effect.
The second time I perhaps reduced the weights from what I normally do by too much - but my reduction in weight percentage was lower than what was suggested on the bulging bi's instructions - reducing the weights by around 10Kgs for each movement.

I even threw in a final set of DB curls, doing as many curls with the 10Kg DBs as possible in 1 minute, and still didn't get as pumped as I normally do!

Maybe the tablets did work, and gave my muscles more stamina which is why they didn't pump up like they normally do? Who knows, but I guess it takes a few attempts to see what works.

I might try a different NO product next to see if there is any difference. Maybe they just don't affect me..?

Thanks for the opportunity to try them though - I'll be using Supp Direct in the future. :)
