One thing I have noticed, or it maybe in my mind, is that it's taking longer for the tablets to kick in. I take them about 15 minutes before the workout and for the first few nights I'd get an itchy feeling from the beta-alanine, strangely enough the "itch" was confined to my upper back. I noticed it last night about 40 minutes into my workout.
Yeah i've noticed this a bit too, i think you might be right in needing to take them a bit earlier before the workout. will try it next time.

Haha call me weird but I actually enjoy the Beta-Alanine tingles. So much so that sometimes I add straight Beta Alanine along with my pre-workout to get an even more prominent feeling. That seems to give me that drive in the gym.

    NO-Beta - 6 tablets about 45 minutes before workout.

Took the tablets a little earlier than usual to see if they had any differing effect. The itch came back, but only a little.

    Legs

    *Leg Extension - 4x15 45kg
    *Standing Leg Curls - 4x15 13kg
*Standing Calf Raise, Smith Machine - 4x15 80kg
    *Lying Leg Curls 4x15 32kg
    *Squats - Smith Machine 3x6 80kg

Finished the workout off with a 30 minute ride on the exercise bike, watching Survivor.

Felt good. That was the most I have squatted since I've had the Smith Machine at home. Knees aren't feeling as sore these days, must be the krill oil finally working.

6 Tablets about an hour before workout

Damn, the itch came back with a vengeance this time. Almost felt like I need to rip my top off and scratch. Again it was only confined to my upper back. I'm not a huge fan of the beta-alanine itch, but at least I know it's doing something.

    Chest

    Warm Up
    *Machine Press 2x20 22kg
*Bench Press - Smith Machine. Went from flat to incline doing 2x10 45 kg each time. Basically would do 2 sets then move it up a notch, 2 sets, move up one notch, until the bench is past the 45 degree angle. I've done this many times with dumbbells and have a great pump afterwards.

    *Machine Press 4x15 45kg

Finished off the workout and took the dog for a walk for about 45 minutes. Workout was a little down on the norm as I painted ceilings today and my shoulders and upper chest were sore from that.

Supposed to be back day but I woke up with a whopping headache this morning that I couldn't shake all day. As a result I didn't train. I'll try to get the back workout done on Friday and move the shoulders to Saturday morning.

I missed my Friday workout as the kids stayed up late to watch Better Homes & Gardens, as they do, the wife went out and by the time I had time to do my workout it was 9:30pm as I was too tired. I did a quick Saturday morning workout instead.

    Saturday 13th March.

6 Tablets about an hour before workout

    Back

    Warm Up
    *Lat Pulldown 2x15 36kg

    Working Sets
    *Lat Pulldown - 4x10 54kg
    *Straight Arm Pulldown 4x15 18kg
    *Seated Cable Rows 3x10 67kg
    *T-Bat Row w/Barbell 3x6 75kg

Felt like my back was going to give on me doing the t-bar rows. Probably went too heavy.

No itchy feelings from the NO-Beta which was good.

6 tablets about an hour before workout.

    Shoulders

    Warm up
*Smith Machine Shoulder Press 2x15 15kg

    Working Sets
*Smith Machine Shoulder Press 4x12 30kg
*Smith Machine Upright Rows 3x12 25kg
    *Front Raise 3x10 9kg
    *Side Raise 3x10 9kg
*Bent Over Side Raise 3x10 9kg

The effects of the NO-Beta aren't as strong as they wee when I first started. Maybe it's time to up the dose? The beta-alanine itch has gone.

NO-Beta 6 tablets about 15 minutes before workout.

    Biceps

    Warm Up
    * 2x15 Ezy Bar Curls - 15kg

    Working Sets
    *Dumbbell Hammer Curl - 4x15 - 20kg
*Low Pulley Machine Preacher Curl - 4x12 13kg
*Seated Incline Dumbbell Curls 4x12 13kg

    Triceps

    Warm up.
    *Pulldowns 2x15 22kg

    Working Sets
    *Pulldowns 3x12 31kg
    *Rope Pulldowns - 3x15 - 22kg
    *Angled Bar Pushdowns - 3x15 - 31kg

    Forearms
*3x15 reverse grip Ezy Curl bar curls - 15kg

In the morning at work I thought my sciatica was going to play up again so I skipped the barbell curls. The pump after doing arms is definitely stronger than any other bodypart by a mile. My biceps are feeling fuller which is nice. Still have a long way to go though.

Would normally have done the next workout on Tuesday but being the good son I am I took my Mum out to dinner for her birthday.

    Wednesday 17th March

    7 NO-Beta tablets 45 minutes before workout.
Didn't feel like I was getting much from the 6 so i took an extra tablet. Got the beta-alanine itch within about an hour.

    Legs

    Warm Up.
    *Treadmill 10 minutes

    *Leg Extensions - 4x15 45kg
    *Standing Leg Curls - 4x15 13kg
*Standing Calf Raise, Smith Machine - 4x15 80kg
    *Lying Leg Curls 4x15 32kg
    *Squats - Smith Machine 3x6 80kg

Legs were sore after the workout. Legs feel like they are getting bigger and more definition. Not vascular as such but the veins are becoming a little more noticeable over time.

6 NO-Beta tablets about an hour before workout.

    Chest

    Warm Up

    *Dumbell Press 4x10 29kg

    Hey Rajah

I missed that a few of you were keeping logs - I am glad I finally made it here, albeit a little late. I am looking forward to following this log, hopefully you keep it up long term!

Supps Direct ran a competition for "bulging biceps". He sent out samples to those interested and asked us to take them and review them. There were 4 of us picked and all received a 360 tablet supply and in turn we post our workout logs and review the product.

So far I think we are all enjoying it. Last weekend at the Australian Pro GP I met Jaiman (spent a fair bit of time together and dropped him at the station after the show) and mikasadan (sat next to him for the finals) and we all agreed it was a good product and we were all enjoying taking it and reviewing it.

Next week I think I'll try mikasadans way of having 6 tablets in the morning and 6 before training and see how that goes.
