Thread: Betancourt Nutrition Glutamine High-C

I'm drinking the Sour Apple flavour of this product as I write this, I have to say i'm very impressed...
The effects that Glutamine and Vitamin-C have for the body, and the immune system specifically are great... And to have a good dose of both of them in one very tasty drink is a great idea...
As a long time user and advocate of glutamine, I think this product is definitely a winner, it will be on my wish list in the future...

Yeah, the High C has become my favorite glutamine product. It tastes amazing and contains vitamin C. What more could you ask for?

Just tried my orange sample and it tastes like an orange crossed with a grapefruit. I think that's a tangelo. It goes down easy and is better than having to eat a vitamin C tab seperately.

Drinking the sour apple and it's really nice!! a great drink for a winter immune system boost i find glutamine and vitamin C are essential in winter time to keep the cold n flu away.

Most definitely better than those chewable vit C tabs i hate those things.

One thing thought PB i put mine in a cup and mixed with a spoon are you supposed to put it in a shaker cause i got this small layer of white powdery residue at the bottom is that normal?

Yeah when i mix it with a spoon there is always a little white residue down the bottom, i just add a little more water and drinking it up. I havent tried it in a shaker cup though.

I knew you would all love this product. This is the best glutamine product i have ever tasted and with the added Vit-C you cannot go wrong.

Sour Apple was my FAVOURITE! Wow.... It tasted like green cordial (y) and it mixed very well. Took it down with my breakfast and multi. Very happy..

Orange still tasted nice, although SA got the 10/10

I don't normally take supps with Vitamin C in them, as I'm not to take supplemental C. Having said that, the mixability and taste of this product is very good. It's a convenient way of getting a glutamine/C hit, although given the dosing, cost-effectiveness might be an issue.

On the whole though, a very good product, and a pleasant way of taking these supps.

9/10 (the only reservation would be cost).

Love the sour apple flavour too. Better than the orange but I get sick of the same flavour so I'd probably buy both. Goes down easier than regular glutamine and the only thing to watch is that the flavour seems to be in little balls so you'd want to keep it mixed so there's equal flavour dispersed throughout.

Finally got around to trying the sour apple flavour today. Interesting taste :)

Vitamin C supps aren't for me, but I can see some real worth in this product.
