    Betincourt "chewies"Chewable Glutamine Tablets

Wow,what a product.Ive used Glutamine in the past and found it hard to mix and not very palatable. Why is it all the supplements we like to take end up tasting like the Devils Jism.Well not this stuff.I took 2 tablets approx 30 minutes before my leg workout, and my legs are usually sore for days after a big workout.Anyway the tabs actually were very nice in taste,a bit like a larger fruit tingle.I loved em and could see myself eatin these little beauties like lollies,(yes they were that nice).I was not sore in the least afterwards at all and would definately buy these (if it wasnt for the fact that i,d probably eat em all in one go).Thanx to Nick from Perfectbody for the samples.

    (post moved from samples thread)

Tried the Glutamine and BCAA chews this morning, not alot to say about them really except for they taste great, especially the grape, its almost like eating those sherbert lollies but not as sweet...
Not much needs to be said about their effects, everyone who knows anything about supps should know the benefits of glutamine by now... I can see how these chews would be effective for those in a rush or with limited time to prepare things, its a great idea...
For me however, I'm happy enough just to have my raw l-glut powder and mix it in with things myself...

Thanks Nick for the opportunity to try them though, more reviews to come...

i tried these for past week,

personally, they taste great and i dont mind them,

my problem is,i consume 10g of glutamine after workout and 10g bcaa, that works out i think about 8 of each chewable,16 chewables in one hit,i wouldnt bother with this product, thats my honest opinion and its not every day i find something wrong with pb's products, never had an issue with anything else, infact i use his products religiously,

for someone who splits there dose through the day, then this is a great product cause its just like candy and in a way would stop candy craves at the same time,

also, comes down to price?not really worth it if its marked up quite high, considering your using so many a day,

overall, product tastes really good,i love them,

downside, low dosed and need so many to get a decent dose at once,

    Good call mino...
Similar concerns to me, however you outlined them much better...
Great product if you're prepared to chomp one down every half hour or so, but to get your 20g glutamine a day, its not exactly cost effective...

As mentioned though, if someone was to have issues with cravings, they're a great way to solve them in a healthy fashion...

IMO, they're effective for a very niche market...

Well i guess if your dieting hard and craving are a plenty... sometimes a sweet tasting something to chew on goes along way.

It still is a top product that tastes great which you all agree on. It just comes down to who the person is that will be buying it. Like Mino said, it wouldn't be worth it if your trying to get 20g of l-glutamine a day but for the person looking at 5g-10g a day i think its still good.

I have a tub on my desk at work and every couples of hours i just grab a few and chew on them. i found they help kick sugar cravings for lollies and i have noticed that my need for a sugary drinks have done down.

    Thanks for the great reviews.

Tried them yesterday and they are very easy to eat.

Again, not sure about cost effectiveness for heavy users, but I do like the idea of a "lolly" substitute.

    They taste yum. :)
