    My new stack

Hi Guys, I've just ordered the following from Bulk Nutrients and Bioflex.

Biocharge, RecoverX , WPC, Creatine Monohydrate, Dextrose

The plan is to take Biocharge pre, RecoverX during and WPC/dextrose post training. I'm currently dieting, though the goal is bulking in a week or so.

My questions are; would anyone recommend adding dextrose to the biocharge or recoverX? How much dextrose to people add to their post training shake?
Which drink should I add the creatine to? and how much? I was thinking of just adding 10 grams creatine to the biocharge.

(By the way, service from Ben was excellent!)

    Cheers

Hi Croft, this is how I'd use them.

Start with approx 10g of Biocharge pre workout. Have this within 20 minutes of starting training.
Now, some find 10g enough of a dose, however after the first dose or so on 10g you may find 20g works better. If so, swicth to the larger dose, but guage effects on the lower dose for a few days first.

Due to all the ingredients in biocharge it does work better if you take it everyday (not just on training days). Have the same dose on non training days, at a similar time of day.

With the Recover X I usually recommend a dose of between 10 and 20g, however some have up to 30g.

This works well if you blend it in a shaker with water and sip while training. I usually recommend that whatever is taken during training, the same amount is had direclty afterwards. IE, 10g while you train, followed by 10g when training has finished. Whether you add any carbohydrates is up to you, but it is worth considering these factors.

Adequate protein synthesis (and even a raise in insulin) will occur with free form amino acids alone, so absorption with free form aminos in isolation should be efficient and very rapid.
Saying that, carbohydrates will raise insulin further (which is ideal around training time) and will enhance energy.

If you are lean, looking to bulk and get a good boost from carbs during training, the addition of them will only be positive.
However, if you are cutting and find it hard to lose weight, then using carbs here should be avoided. If you are the latter, then I'd stick with only low GI carb sources.
If you are the former, a dose of about 30 - 40g of carbs with the Recover X should provide good results.

The Creatine can be had at any time of the day. Creatine is quite similar to Citrulline Malate and Beta Alanine in that while it will give a mild instant improvement, it works best as levels rise in your body. Some people like to speed this up with larger doses in the first week, once creatine levels in the body are full, the dose can be reduced, but a dose everyday must be maintained.

During the first week, I'd recommend mixing the Creatine with the Biocharge. As when body creatine levels are low it makes sense to maximise the effect with consumption directly before your body will use the atp (when training).

These are just my opinions, though I know there are a lot of guys on here who have been using both and likely have experimented with dosing/timing more than me.

Thanks for that, I'll see how I go... While loading creatine, is 10 grams enough per day? (I know there is a small amount in the biocharge as well)

Some go up to 20g, but generally I'd say 10g is fine.
