By that logic what's the point of having any store in Australia since most things can be bought from o/s a lot cheaper?

Customs are shit scared there'll be another cane toad situation, hence they go overboard. When it comes to supps though, it's just the government sticking their nose in where it doesn't belong.

Umm just have a package now overdue, 7 days late into Brisbane only 3 items, 2 new products by IBE and some Gaspari stuff. I am wondering who do I contact? OR should I bother contacting them at all? Wierd part is, it has said on the treacking CLEARED CUSTOMS.

When it does not clear customs does that mean it's pulled up? Who do I ring? Australia post?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks GW for the reply.

Yes just got off phone with Australia Post, basically the lady was useless, encourage me to basically go ask the sender to do a investigation, I state again it cleared customs, just went missing after that.
Sender was like I don't know what to do, also I never claimed Parcel Insurance so like I am the poo now, maybe its a sign from above to stop now.....................

I dunno, lost for words on this one.

Theft? Yet again we have the most secure postal service *NOT*.

    Has anyone had similar experiences?

Two years ago i ordered stuff from bb.com two months before xmas. I waited 4- 5months for a packages to clear customs. Ask them where it is they should be able to track it better than you can. I've never gone back. Pm me and i'll give you a thread on another site where you can trade/sell/buy supps with other aussie.

I had an incident with Australia Post a few years ago with a DVD going missing. A friend ordered it so it was sent to her. She then mailed it to me and it never arrived. Makes you cranky that things can just 'disappear'.

Yes USPS that just sits there at CLEARED CUSTOMS..............

Unless they have added that whilst testing it for something or some UFO type substance that amazingly jumped out of the box.

But you know what I mean.

Not to hog the OP start of this thread, update to my situation the Supplier now has offerred to send the goods free of charge to see if and what happens next time, after they file for complaint in the United States. They will wait 5 days and see how it turns out.

Good outcome considering it was a loss to me, as it still has stuck at CLEARED CUSTOMS. I have offerred them the guarntee that if it becomes a double order I will definately re-emburse them for there efforts, I don't wish to disclose this site as it normally
takes others to rip off these guarntee's like this, I will inform you guys on what happens. But it was a good update from a Supplier to a customer point of view, not many suppliers would go this far, so it's really now a wait and see.

I've had some huge dramas trying to (legally) import gun parts lately.

For example, magazines, that fit firearms that are legal to buy and use in Australia, but because they also fit a firearm that is prohibited to own and import are banned to import.

Also timber blanks, so a chunk of unfinished, uncut wood, requires attorney generals approval to import if specified as a gun stock blank, but when imported as a cricket bat blank, it's not required, also barrels, we just import them as drill bits extensions...

The import laws are horse shit
