Bodybuilding.com wont allow me to ship any supps to OZ?

    Hey guys,

I dont know if this is the right spot for this question, but it seems most suited.

I just finalised my order with Bodybuilding.com - The Future Of Bodybuilding! Huge Bodybuilding Site. for:

    optimum WPI
    gaspari sizeon
    gaspari superpump250
    3 packs of Animal Pak
    and a few mixer bottles

Its saying on checkout it wont allow shipping of these items to Australia anymore, I dont understand whats changed as Ive ordered off these guys many times, got 10lbs bags of protein in and many other supps no probs with courier.
Last order was around 12 months ago, no probs on checkout at all. anyone shed any light.
    cheers.
    Rob

    Hi Rob

I guess the right spot for this question might be bodybuilding.com?

Maybe some of the forum sponsors / shop owners could take the opportunity to gain a new client and pm you a quote for the stated order or its nutritional equal.
    Just a thought..

Coule be Animal Pak has a different recipe for Aus? Maybe they have something different in the US.

Any chance we could talk you out of that sale though? I thought you wanted to cut down on your supps?

your right mate, sent them an email today, getting pretty low on supps, so chasing a faster answer
just keen to find out if anyone else has experienced same problem,
Its a large market to just cut out completely for them.

Im definately open to any sponsors on our forum that can organise me a good price for the above, I did take in all that got said in another post and im definately giving bulk nutrients a go for my WPC 10kg bag.

Clownboy, your 100% I would like to cut down on supps most of all cost of supps, that being the reason I source from US or at least I did in the past, but Ive heard some good reveiws on the animal pak vits from a few local guys,
+ as expensive as gaspari is, they seem to have a good name for providing supps that work, Ive been wanting to try the sizeon/super stack for a while now, really want to see if this breaks the plateau,
ill give it 8 weeks and see if they come through, if no luck, then id say ill be heading down the bulk route and mixing myself and buying online direct in oz.

I did this stack for 3 months. It didn't really help. I got jazzed from the caffeine but can get that through other means. Plus I have now learnt that caffeine and creatine should never be mixed.

They are okay supps. I just didn't notice much.

By the way - I used to have a $300+ per month (sometimes $400) supplement addiction.

They helped a bit. Not alot. And I am lucky it only lasted a few months.

I would have much preferred to buy more weight for my home gym ($4.5k of gear).

Nowadays I stick to the basics. BUT - I had to learn the hardway. No disrespect to you for needing the same. ;)

And I am not anti-supps. Just anti-buying loads of supps that can be linked to those big marketing claims.

remove the protein from the order and see if it makes any difference,

theres been a few issues with a few companies in the u.s not sending any protein and n.o products to australia simply cause they get seized,

You would be suprised just how few of the otc supps you can get away with in reality yet still grow just fine.
A good amino matrix, healthy oils, vit b complex, vit c, l-glute, creatine (male multi vit maybe) are the basics.
The rest should come down to whole fresh foods , quality gym ethic and great recovery protocols.

The only things I take apart from those mentioned above is magnesium and silica to mange my calcium deposits.

Get the basics right and you can tailor any extra supps as needed... many people take so many supps at once they have no clue whats working and whats not.

yeah ive shuffled it around a few times, no luck, just fininshed talking with them about it, there saying our customs laws have tightened up recently and a majority are being confiscated by our customs so theyve programmed there computers to not allow certain items to even be purchased, stopping customers loosing money when supps are sent back or destroyed, i can understand milk in the protein, but all the rest, its far from fare, it makes it economical buying in the US for 1/3 of our prices here, taxes and greed seems to be the motive behind this.

cheapest ive found is ebay, just hoping our aussie supps of same version dont have ingredients removed.
its a bad day for me.

and yeah clownboy i see where your coming from, our local prices are an absolute joke.

No you don't I was coming from - don't spend your money on the supps. Spend it on gear and stuff and keep the supps basic.

good point razz about not knowing what ingredients work and dont.

have L glute, mono crea, multi, WPI, (trib- unsure if i will follow through with them again) due to past reactions, usually have run a WPC, when can afford both consecutively, fish oil, spirulina, usually run centrum.

only extras ive wanted to get my aminos bcaa sorted ( reason im going animal pak 44 as it looks to have very high dose of all round vits needed ) + also get nitrix, which ive noticed gives me that buzz to go that bit harder.

thinking about dropping the spiro next also and will drop centrum when pak arrives.
