Where does everyone pick up 10kg- 20kg bags of WPI protein in Australia? any secret

    Hey again guys,

times come to get all my supps again, i usually get them direct from the states, just cant beat the price + aussie $ is
great at the moment. I was going to go another 4.5Kg bag of optimum WPI blend, can pick it up for around $80usd
compared to out $140, but at 3 shakes a day its lucky to last 6-8 weeks, Have been looking around at a few sites in aus
but havent found anyone really even close to that in the larger 10-20kg bags, checked out a sponsor on here but still price is up there even ebay, maybe ill just have to get 2x bags of optimum, but just wondered if theres any secrets out there, I really try and shop for all my gear togeather to last me around 3 months, but hell if I could get enough to cover 6 months thats one less stress I have to deal with on a reg basis.

    cheers all.
    Rob

I use Bulk Nutrients now - Bulk Nutrients

First order was last week. I got all of my other supps from them overnight. the 20KG bag of WPC took 3 days because it was so big. It was a $570 order in total and worth maybe $1k or much more if I bought from a supp shop.

Also, why use WPI 3 times a day?

I would use it post workout only and use WPC for your 2 other shakes.

My 2c - if you can get 4.5KG of WPI for $80 - do that and grab a 10kg bag of WPC from Bulk Nutrients.

Or you can mix them, with some flavouring. Even Optimum whey and those brands have a mixture of WPI and WPC.

the postage would be how much for 10lbs. must be over 50 bucks. so in the end, buying locally or international is the same.??

Bulk Nutrients - flat $12. Even though he had to split it up and send it.

    Hey all,

that bulk nutrients site has quite a bit of gear at decent prices, never knew of them,
gave protein direct a look, but still thought I might be able to snare cheaper rate.
shipping direct from the stae wasnt that bad, all up around 90 for alot of stuff, protein, vits, nitrix etc.
seems to be the bulk site is cheapest so far at 290 for 10kg wpc + grab a few flavour sachets.
btw bb.com is the site ive went to in the past.
Hey clownboy, i thought WPI = post workout + shake as soon as wake with oats, isnt that better first thing in morning as its fast release and into system quick opposed to
wpc being slow. WPC suits before bed shake with milk, giving you slow release right?
Just didnt want to be paying for WPI , WPC , or even casein for before bed. But thats a good point. WPC will do before bed giving slow release for 8hr sleep without having to fork out extra $ for casein on top of all the rest?
    cheers guys

That is EXACTLY what I did. Except $290 is for the 20KG bag.

I got the 20kg, split it with my sister and went with 4KG flavoured chocolate, 4KG flavoured vanilla and 2kg plain to put in my porridge, etc.

Casein is your slowest and is usually the one they talk about having pre-bed.

WPI is your fastest and is best for post workout.

Any other time, I use WPC protein as it is in the middle. My personal belief (so feel free to do something different) is that outside of these times, you are just supplementing your food intake. So no need to spend on more expensive faster or slower digesting proteins. So I use the cheapest of the 3 - while still ensuring I use good quality.

Fair enough mate. Just thought WPI is the best 1st thing in morning. But I can understand what your saying about cost. It adds up real quick.

Im going to have to get some dextrose to add to post workout WPI still to carb it up still. + WPI + WPC + nitrix and multis. I dont know which way to go yet, wallets getting empty
all I know is protein bowl is getting lower day by day.

I used to spend hundreds per month (no exageration).

These days I do a stim+fat burner combo homemade with stuff from Bulk Nutritients (still in week 1 - there is a post on this) + protein, multi-v and iron.

I don't do heavy weights at the mo due to my triathlon training. If I did, I would grab some WPI and do a 30/70 or 50/50 something like that between WPC and WPI for my post work out.

And don't worry about dextrose (again - my opinion only). throw in a banana or something.
