My mum uses this for "brain food", has anyone come across these tablets? Are they worth the 40+ dollars?

Awaiting T2's expert vitamin advice :)

    :)

Mate Brahmi does have a lot of science and support behind it.

There was a news story some time back about a footballer who was KOed (can't recall how) and essentially he was vegetable-like. Speech problems, motor skills, etc etc, and his mother gave him mega, and I mean mega doses of Brahmi (after she'd researched alternative therapies) and the improvement was simply extraordinary. I think she went on to develop her own Brahmi supp.

Anywhoo.... are they worth $40? Like all supps in Aust they are expensive to comparable products overseas. Are they worth taking? I think so. This is one supp I have been seriously considering adding to my mix as my memory is fucked... ahhh the 70s .... it is well regarded for improving cognitive function, memory etc. In short, as your mother says, brain food. :)

    Cheers

Thanks, but not really. Doc is the real expert here.
But I do take a strong interest in alternative therapies because the Doctor I see is also a Naturopath.

    Good luck with it.
