i always wonder what would happen if i died. who would come to my funerall... who wouldnt! the ammount of sadness people would feel. I saw my grandma who was fine, just started doing funny things get told she has a brain tumor and holding her when she creid just opened my eyes so much. makes me wonder why i am not out doing something now to make my life all it can be!

Ive just finished my first clinical at a nursing home and i can tell you it was a sobering experience. It was also a very special experience and i was skeptical at first and at one stage i thought 'why me' but i soon realised how great it was. I looked at these old people (all in severe stages of dementia) and saw our future one way or another. It was sombering as i said.

Zoo, nice to see you back.

Far out that was a depressing thought Rusha. I had to get my drivers licence renewed today and I was comparing photos between 30 and 35 and was thinking, oh man, I'm really getting older now. At least everyone I know is getting older at the same rate. I go to uni though, and they keep starting at 18, and they keep seeming to get younger every year. It sucks!

But on the up side you get to hang around hot young folks all day and get away with it as a mature age student! It's the perfect crime.

I also wonder who would come to my funeral.

I'd also be interested to see who would come to my funeral to ease their conscience for treating me like shit.

Long story short - one of the girls I went to school with had a very nasty email from a 'friend' late last year telling her that she no longer wanted contact because she was negative and didn't want someone like that in her life. It was a venemous email. A few months later my friend tragically died. Who was the one sitting at the crematorium and saying how much she missed her 'friend'. I was so angry that she'd turned up to ease her conscience.

I plan to deliver the Euology at my funeral, via video.

I too, have thought not just about who would attend my funeral, but who would get the job of detailing my life. The one person who knows me the best, my ex, is someone I would not want to do it. So, I will make a video and tell my life story, warts and all, to the assembled "mourners".

I'm not afraid of death, but it’s the timing that worries me!

    YouTube - Tchaikovsky - Symphony n.6 "Pathétique" [2/5] - Jansons

I plan for the first 5 minutes of this extract from Tchaikovky's tragic Symphony 6 (Pathetique) to be played at my funeral.

No passage of music rivals it in its exposition of tradegy. It perhaps suggests deluded self-importance to request it as a funeral song lol.

If I consider my life to have resolved perfectly, I'd want Beethoven 5th Symphony movement 4 to be played (respresenting victory).

It was interesting who came out of the woodwork when my Mum was dying - there was a few people who had definitely come to ease their conscience. I was bitter at first but then thought it was better that the living live without guilt and gave it up.
