    New Pushy

Well it was about tuime that the Beeman bought himself a new present.

Been out and bought myself a new mountain bike today with the intention of using it as much as poss, a couple of my mates are into mountain biking (trails mainly).

Im also going to get one of those little tow along buggies so the kids can sit in it and me and the missus can go out in the evening.

Anyone on here know if theres an easy way of finding out say bike tracks between A and B. Say Algester to the city or Algester to Sinnamon Park or the likes without involving main roads and the like, so just cycle ways i guess.

I know with Bicycle Victoria, not much help to you in QLD, they have a Google Earth add on that highlights all the bike tracks in Victoria when you use Google Earth. It's fantastic.

Weather's getting good again, except for today. May have to tweak the bike soon and start riding again.

Yeah MTBing is awesome, I mainly do XC, but do love the long flowing downhillsections, I find it is great to get out and do some cardio which is actually fun compared to running or walking on a treadmill.

Mainly ride out at Lysterfield, which has the Commonwealth games track in, plus heaps of other trails and tracks.

I ride Kona, Prima Kula, RockShox Reba world Cups and Mavic CrossMax wheels, awesome light bike and suits me for now.

no big enough to carry your arse around LOL

your best bet would be going to a reputable bike shop and getting personally fitted for a bike
