    Thumbs up Motorbikes anyone

    This is my Outdoor Recreation.................

The sound of V-Twins at full noise around the track is fuckin brilliant

Riding over to Philip Island for the Grand Prix was one of the best rides i have ever done. The Great Ocean Road
There were however two problems with the trip

The bloody Harley breaking down at the 1st fuel stop and then

All in all a great outdoor hobby albeit BLOODY EXPENSIVE and this is only one of my bikes

    Nice. :)

About to go back on a bike. "She who must be obeyed", forced me off my bike when my daughter was born. Now she's an ex, it's back in the saddle. Sadly, let my licence go, so have to go through all that crap again.

Can't wait to get back out on the highway......

    T2.

Yes i cannot wait, then i can go out and buy my self the full get-up so i can look like a power ranger with the rest of you.

Or maybe i could hang with the Harley boys and dress up like gay pirates.

Its basically the power rangers Vs the Gay pirates. very amusing.

I ride with both, and love how thy will not even wave/nod to each other.

Yep, similar style of touring bike except it's much, much cheaper, doesn't sound as good, and is learner legal. :)

My main use for the bike is to tour, rather than commute.

learner legal? what are the requirements in your part of the Aussie? i thought 650 might be above learner limit?

    What colour you going for?

    The RTA limits are:

"As from 6 September 2002 a Learner Approved Motorcycle (LAM) scheme for novice riders (both learner and provisional) will commence on a trial basis. The LAM scheme will allow novice riders to ride moderately powered motorcycles with an engine capacity up to and including 660ml and which do not exceed a power to weight ratio of 150 kilowatts per tonne and are shown on this list. The following list, which will be adjusted as new models are approved by the RTA, displays details of all motorcycles that can be ridden by learner and provisional riders."

Colour? if I get the 650 Custom, then blue (matches my eyes, LOL)
if the classic, then Bluish Silver (their name).

Nice T2 .....................for a Yamaha Will serve your purpose though.
Simon, if ya need someone to ride ya bike for ya, i'm ya man. Love the little 600's with the 17k redlines. Beats me why they have more than 4 gears
Z750, was it a Mad Mad special or a newer model. Loved the old skool Kwakas.
BT, the gay pirate look is for anyone not in a power ranger suit buddy, go get some and i kn ow exactly what you mean about the 2 groups not acknowledging each other. I still do the nod to the Harley boys but dont bother about the scooter bunnies.
