Nice pics Jesper, a friend of mine has a CBR600RR with a yoshi pipe and damn it's quick and sounds great, but I can only imagine what the step up to a 1000cc is like... Be sure to tell us your thoughts once you ride that green weapon!

Will do. Seriously, it is a great machine, with many great custom parts. The rear wheel is pretty fat so cornering will need to be considered :-).
Envy :-). That is a beautiful bike. Got some really good reviews in AMCN's current issue of bike reviews. What did you have before?
It is interesting what a quality exhaust like Yoshimura can do to a bike. It may add a few extra horsepowers, but more importantly is how it changes the nature of the bike. There is a noticeable difference. I put a Yoshi slipon on my first bike, an old Kawasaki Z500. It was like riding a new bike!. And this was on a bike with no ECU (too old for that). The ECU in modern bikes compensate for the new exhaust and will optimise the fuel to air ratio.
hey jesper, I upgraded from a cbr250rr which I am still trying to sell so I can bring the new one home.
As for exhaust, a friend got one on his r6 with a PCIII. He said he wouldn't go back, smoothened out the touchy throttle, more torque down low and a bit more power up top.
I really don't mind the look of the Jardine gp1 slip on that you have on your website.
Great to see so many bike riders on here.
I have had my R1 since new in 2001
I am leaving for a 3000klm ride down to Phillip Island for the MOTO GP.
can't wait after the race going to Bells beach and along the great ocean rd.
i try and find time to ride at least one a week.
Photo was from a couple of years ago. Have a yoshi pipe now and a few other bling bits.

In fact we do, and this is one of our Jardine best sellers. Jardine is also a high quality brand, and I was fortunate to meet with the owners a few weeks ago when I was in the US. Very impressive company with a very strong quality and customer service focus. I have a Jardine on my cruiser.
Let me know if you decide to get one. We are the exclusive importer of Jardine into Australia and sell them at the same price we used to charge dealers. We have a strict no discount policy, but I will do something for an SM member.
get 2300cc of British iron into ya, you pansies.
