    SM"s Guide to shopping for the "portly" gentleman

    All this talk about jeans that don't fit made me laugh and sob at the same time. During the xmas break I had to seccumb to the fact that I could no longer shop in "regular" shops for clothes that actually fit me comfotrably. It was a case of arms too big, quads to big, size of waist required to fit quads was enough to fit my entire family (4) in them or the item simply didn't come in 2XL. That being said I have found a couple of places that supply enough items to fill my wardrobe and not have me shopping at Lowes and I though I'd share with all my SM brothers and sisters that may come accross similar issues;

    1. BIG AND TALL CLOTHING - KINGSIZE MENSWEAR. CLOTHES FOR BIG AND TALL MEN. - now I'm not overly big or tall (178cm's @ 110Kg's) but they had exactly what I was after. Sizes start @ 2XL

    2. DrJays.com Urban Clothing: Akademiks, Apple Bottoms, LRG, Ecko, Rocawear, Sean John, Pastry, Baby Phat, Coogi, Dereon - US based shop but given the yanks supersize everything most jeans are relaxed fit so there's plenty of room for the wheels...

    Please feel free to add other stores as you find places that have stuff that fits....

    Whoa...hold your horses there Jaiman...no one said anything about ditching the boob tube particularly if you have a lint filled belly button and navel piercing....

    Fat women call themselves cuddly and curvy because they are horrified at the idea of admitting they are just plain fat..... Isn't PORTLY the male version of the same ???.. I think portly means Round, Fat, Hefty etc ..

    I prefer "large and heavy in a dignified and stately way"

    Man I am so glad to have thrown out all my fat clothes!

    But it was tough, Target was the best for me in terms of quality and price. Thanks to Powerlifting I could have a 38 inch waist, but still need 42 pants to fit my quads into!
