    Why this place is awesome

    This week I:
Decided I needed a new programme for April to August – new goals and new training to get me ready for a new race - 3 weeks out from needing new routine - starting it now

Thank you Swan05 for the advice and Big Tim, ReddyBayMuscle for your interest.

I also needed an opinion on where I am at and what I should try to do (weight loss wise) during the next period of my training. It turned into some handy advice, the exact answers I needed and some dietary advice will definitely influence that period of training.

Conflicting Advice - How much should I be trying to lose?

Thank you Belmont (in particular) and Swan05, Big Tim for your advice.

In both threads, the answers don’t even have to be exactly spot on. They are motivational, supportive, a nudge in the right direction and very helpful to the learning process.

I wont post all the threads I have started but I have had help with supplements (thanks Bioflex) which included a topic where we road tested a modified form of his fat burner recipe. Plus all the motivation that comes out any time I\we post about finishing a race.

Considering I live and work in a place where I am surrounded by really nice people who don’t care one whit about triathlon or hardcore training of any kind – this forum is a refuge.

    Well done people.

    CB.

Glad to hear you have gotten something out of the SM community ClownBoy :) I was pretty stoked myself when i found this place. Definitely helps being able to talk/read with like minded people.

Best of luck with your races in the future.
Train how you plan to race.
