Remember when Prince Harry or whoever went to a dress-up party in a german uniform. Maybe he should be taken from his family? Surely his parents have been a bad influence

    note sarcasm.

What about children of parents that smoke? Surely they are putting their kids at risk too? (more sarcasm)

Or parents who let the older kids watch Rambo 4. Take us all out I reckon.
In other words, while its sad that shes foisting her beliefs onto her kids I don't believe it warrants taking them from the family home.

Surely there has to be more to the story than that. Seems a bit weird if you can get your kids taken off you for a symbol drawn on their arm. That would also mean if another kid went to school with a cross or pentagram drawn on their arm then they should be taken off their parents too.

There has to be other issues behind the decision to take the kids.

Don't we all. It's just that most peoples fit into the social norms.

There is more to the story apparently - the eldest kid misses lots of school and there have been incidents in the past - whatever that means.

I'm sure that some gungho social worker/teacher at the school woulod have used this as the last straw to teach her a lesson and called child protection. Given the knee jerk reactions of these types of departments they would have jumped at it. Just look at DOCS here in Australia (NFI)

    Have fun

    Interesting....

When I taught, if you tried to wash a kid's arm, as per this story, you'd most likely get suspended and there'd been an investigation and a report to the Ombudsman. :(

I do agree though, there is obviously far more to the story.
