    Inception

You're either going to say it was shit or it was good - one of those movies depending how deep your mind is, I reckon.

    I loved it!!

I havn't been 'brought into a movie' like this since Avatar and I wanted to go back in.
This is one that would have topped it all off in 3D - don't understand why it wasn't.

Leonardo Di Caprio just about my favourite actor recently and Christopher Nolan's a freak.

See it if you have an interest in the human brain especially with dreams. Also if you are one that loves to analyse things naturally.

Loved the ending - the whole cinema made that sound where someone pulls the plug from the TV as the end of a movie is about to reveal the bad guy, lol. You just need it to go for about 5 or 10 seconds longer to see what happens, but you never do.

Firass Dirani, actor who played John Ibrahim has been filming in this movie with Robert De Niro, Jason Statham.
    Filmed in London.

Big move. He's achieved alot since pulling off the role in Underbelly.

Might have to keep an eye out for this one when it comes out, most movies with De Niro or Stratham are good or at least watchable.

Movie on Joaquin Phoenix's lost year gets September debut - Yahoo!7 Movies

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A movie chronicling Joaquin Phoenix's puzzling 2008 decision to retire from acting and reinvent himself as a hip-hop musician will debut in U.S. movie theaters in September -- and distributors insist it is not a mockumentary.

Independent movie distributors Magnolia Pictures said on Wednesday they had acquired world rights to "I'm Still Here", describing it as "a portrait of an artist at a crossroads."

The movie, directed by Phoenix's brother-in-law, actor Casey Affleck, will open on September 10.

Phoenix's surprise retirement announcement in 2008, followed by a bizarre TV appearance as a mumbling, shaggy-haired guest on "The Late Show with David Letterman", had industry watchers wondering if his new act was a hoax.

Magnolia Pictures spokesman Matt Cowal told Reuters on Wednesday that "I'm Still Here" is "not a mockumentary by any means. I think the film speaks for itself.

Cowal said Phoenix's participation in promotional events for the release was as yet "undetermined".

Phoenix, 35, was nominated for an Oscar for playing country singer Johnny Cash in the 2005 biopic "Walk the Line.' His last movie was 2008 drama "Two Lovers" opposite Gwyneth Paltrow.

Phoenix said he was quitting acting because he was bored and that hip-hop had always been a passion. Last year, he said he was working on a mostly self-produced album with help from rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs. No album has yet been released.
I think he's having the last laugh. Looks like it may have been all promotional / publicity for this movie?

Not a movie but a series.

Spartacus: Blood and sand - Best series I've seen yet!

Series two starts shooting soon and I'm trying to get a extras role as a gladiator!

    The Expendables

    Speechless.
This is one for lovers of the old school action films. The originals when Arnie and Stallone were at an all time high making a break to the top.
From the corny one liners during fight scenes to the style of action all the way to the story line.
A little bit of all the past great action films were thrown into this.
    Awesome non-stop action.

Some of the style of killings in the most recent and last of the Rambo's, are in this too.
Directed by Stallone, it's no wonder they are. He knew the formula he created with Rambo was a winner and found a way to bring it to us again without boring the Rambo franshise. Same as Rambo also, fast and to the point!

Arnie's 2 minute scene was enough to give me goosebumps. As he appeared on screen, members of the audience shouting and whispering all over, "Arnie" or "oh, Schwarzenegger!"
Evident to me atleast, that if this guy ever returns to making movies, would absolutely CLEAN up!
Maybe in The Expendables part 2 ? He will have finished serving in office by then.
The scene is pretty funny where Arnie has his usual hardarse attitude in a conversation and when one guy asks the other what his problem is, replies something in relation to Arnie and his current real life Government job which I won't give away so that the moment is not ruined to those yet to watch it.

    Sylvester Stallone Planning ‘Expendables 2′

Sylvester Stallone Planning 'Expendables 2' - News in Film

"Sylvester Stallone’s The Expendables has only just hit theaters and already the musclebound multi-hyphenate is plotting a sequel to the $82 million movie.

Stallone told the LA Times, “I have an idea ready to go. People think doing a sequel is easy, but it’s not because you need the element of surprise. I’m going to try to do something that’s quite radical.” It is anyone’s guess what “radical” might mean, but I doubt action fans would be opposed to pitting the aging heroes against one another. If they’re still physically up for it, of course.

Naturally, a follow-up will depend on how the machismo parade performs against the estrogen-infused Eat Pray Love and geek favorite Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

Premature sequel talk isn’t anything new for Stallone, who hinted at a fifth Rambo mere days after the fourth (simply titled Rambo) racked up a hefty body count in 2008. After rumors of a plot involving elite soldiers infected with “savagery” and a less hilarious tale of one final rescue mission, Stallone declared an end to John Rambo adventures. Almost.

In true Stallone fashion, Sly left one percent of uncertainty for a fifth, just in case some studio executive was willing to fork over the cash. There have been whispers of a prequel without Stallone, but he is not prepared to let that happen. In an interview with AICN, Sly said:

“I certainly think this is worth pondering because it’s intriguing to find the whys and wherefores of how people have come to become what they are. The traumas, the loss and the tragedy of being in Vietnam would certainly be a great challenge for a young actor and it would be ironic that Rambo directs younger Rambo after having played it for 20 plus years.” All the “whys and wherefores” point to dollar signs and reduced role for the 64-year-old.

Meanwhile, in California, there is talk of organizing state workers for a boycott directed at Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who recently enacted pay cuts and unpaid furloughs to correct the state’s struggling finances. Underpaid, angry and with extra time on their hands, the union workers are planning to protest the theatrical release of The Expendables.

However, a boycott doesn’t strike a blow against Schwarzenegger, who merely makes a cameo, but Stallone who wrote, directed, produced and starred in the movie, and the studio or theater organizations that have nothing to do with the political feud. This is the equivalent of picketing a McDonald’s because you’re angry at the lettuce industry."

Moviehole. Schwarzenegger back for Expendables 2

"Those left disappointed by the much ballyhooed appearance of Arnold Schwarzenegger in ''The Expendables'' – of which he appeared for all of 3 minutes or so in – will be glad to hear that Sylvester Stallone, writer/director of the all-star protein powder commercial, is hoping to get Schwarzenegger back for a ‘key role’ in the sequel.

"If this works, I would love to get him in the next one," Stallone told MTV News of a possible sequel. "I really think so. He's been out of the limelight a long time, and I think this is the kind of film that would be a nice intro."

Stallone says he witnessed first hand Schwarzenegger’s renewed interest in acting following the cameo shoot.

"I saw his eyes light up. It's one thing to run a state, but it's another thing to get back to what you're really known for," Stallone said. "Certain actors you're never going to see come down the pike again, and he's one of them."

Of course, none of this will much matter if the critically-mauled actioner does zero business at the box office this weekend. We will know Monday whether there's any chance we'll see an "Expendables 2".

Spot on MO. I went to see this Saturday night, but had low expectations. I didn't think it would live up to the hype at all. But it was fantastic.

Forget taking tribulus or tongkat ali, this movie will triple your test levels :)

The movie ends with no credits making you think again that there were no actors or directors involved.

Abit slow to get going, but the last 30mins of the movie will make it worth it.
Paranormal activity. Boring as. Redeemed slightly by the ending but only slightly
