Mate they are the best live band in Australia right now, if not the best band full stop."Broken Leg" should get up there in the Hottest 100 this year.

And i also like the photo of "man with a big cock" brilliant.

Thank you!!! Someone who didn't think Avatar as a narrative powerhouse lol. Visually awesome but as I said earlier, nothing ground-breaking.

    @ Bricktop:

Yeah, i caught them about 2 months ago at the Hi Fi in Brisbane, and i have never danced or enjoyed myself at a concert so much. The Head of the hawk Album is a rocket, so different to their Vitriol stuff.

I am totally taken by Avatar. Going to see it again with hubby and kids who all want to see it again. No ideas are new!! So it's a standardish love story with a message - i don't care who's original idea it seems to be, cause the "boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back after both learn a life lesson" theme will be done until time eternal.

I loved the story, the visuals, the fantasy and the journey the movie took me on. Long time since i've shed a tear in a movie - but when they demolished those trees, I was devestated! I want to be blue.....

haha... did anyone see this article,"Reality leaving Avatar fans feeling blue 14:30 AEST Tue Jan 12 20103 hours 8 minutes agoBy ninemsn staff" Basic rundown, "Thousands of Avatar fans have reported feeling depressed and even suicidal at the prospect of never being able to visit the mystical planet depicted in the movie. " to read the rest go to, Reality leaving Avatar fans feeling blue

i found it funny to read this article.. why would it make you feel depressed, more so, why would you feel suicidal?? Although the world(PANDORA) which they digitally created was amazing and beautiful, it didnt leave me feeling depressed. Did any of you feel depressed?

No depression from Avatar. But whenever I watch a zombie flick I prey for an apocalypse that brings the dead back to life. Something about that scenario that's always intrigued me. It would be cool to have to fight to survive against the undead. Barricading myself in somewhere with an arsenal of weapons, tin food & candy bars, oh & the cute girl who just watched her whole family turn into brain eating zombies. Get some!
I just saw my parents having sex, that's the last time I visit that website.

Joey - Sure it would be a magical place to visit - but it's ummm, not reality!!!! I'm thinking those who got suicidal because they couldn't go there already had some mental issues pre-movie. I found it very child-like in it's attraction. You know - pretty things that glowed and stuff, it was all very fairyland-ish. It was a nice 2.5 hour escape but I was still fully aware I was sitting in a theatre wearing a pair of sexy glasses....

I felt a bit 'blue' about how they had destroyed earth and hadnt learnt a thing from it. Other than that I cant imagine being depressed because you couldnt go to pandora. Weirdness.
