    Hey mate, welcome to SM

If you are looking at building some significant muscle you won't be able to do that with your 10kg dumbells. You are already smashing your BFA standards, so I think you could spend some time in the gym pressing, deadlifting and squatting to build some strength and mass.

Thanks for the reply mate. I think i'm going to need to work on my heaves and pushups. I want to get to 80 pushups in 2 minutes with 20 heaves. Im hoping I can attain this in 6 weeks. I understand I can't do much with 10kg dumbells, but at the end of the day it's only what I have so I have to work around it! :(

    Cheers,

At 100 pushups i would be stepping it up. I'm sure you could make some homemade weights, bar and milk bottles filled up. Otherwise get to the gym and hit it hard

One point I failed to mention, my bad - I'm still an IET. So basically it's the step after basic training (bootcamp). It's where I start to train to do my job, not just have all the military bullsh*t instilled into me like ironing, masterclass bed making and polishing brass. With saying that, we aren't allowed to use the weights room in the gym only the swimming pool. So having dumbells of any weight around here is a godsend.
Found a new way to I suppose, "up the anti" with the limited weight training equipment I have. Pushup's with body armour on. Adds a good 6kgs of weight to your chest and also for heaves.

    Thanks for the reply,
    Smithy

April 30 I march out. I've been here since November.. Nah I find out my posting tomorrow hopefully. It's either Darwin (1st pref) or Townsviille (2nd pref). I only know that much.
Have you served/ or currently serving?

    A long time ago...

Since you only have two months left there, I guess your time is best spent as you are, running lots and doing your pushups, situps and heaves. Worry about weights when you get to your unit.

Actually with your 10kg dumbells, two job specific things you could do would be to either put them in your pack and do some hills, or do some longer distance farmers walks.
