    Hey everyone

    Hi everyone

I just want to introduce myself. I’m Seth. I’m from Melbourne. I have been skinny all my life and I’ve finally decided that I have to do something about it. I have actually been working out on and off for over a year but I haven’t done any serious weight training so I’m hoping to break out of that non productive cycle. I recently got my hands on a Vince Delmonte’s workout manual and decided that it’d be a good place to start a serious weight gaining.

I am currently working full time so I can only do weight training 3 times a week. I have tried to do more but work has been more stressful recently especially now that the prospect of getting retrenched is at its highest :P I only do cardio once a week since my goal is to gain weight. Hence, any advice on weight gaining would be appreciated. I’ve been browsing the site for a while and so far I’ve been quite impressed with the amount of info available.

    Stats:
    Age: 24
    Height: 174 cm
    Weight: 67 kg
    Cheers,

Welcome Seth, what goal weight are you aiming for?

You may need to post up your workout and diet, it's the only way we can give sound advice.

    G'day Seth,

Great that you've decided to get stuck into a weights program, the benefits go far beyond looking good ( nothing wrong with that though !).
I'm new to this forum also, enjoy your training !

re Andypoo - I'm not so sure what my target weight should be for someone with my height but i'm thinking aroun 80 - 85 kg?

re Pomsta - I understand your pain. Gaining is not easy. I've practically been spending all day cooking and cleaning the dishes over the past week.

Hey mate, very similar stats to when i started training.

Your first 10kgs should come quickly. Re-assess after that.
