Just did a MT questionnaire and I'm a mixed type, so where do I go from here??

Is there any resources online that can guide the type of food I need to eat? I want to lose 20KG of body.

What part of your body would you like to loose? A leg perhaps?

correct me if wrong but does this not seem a typical case of losing fat and misconception a almost "spot burining" example, you want to lose 20kg and from belly huh? sit ups and crunches ye? NO! how are you gunna tell your body now listen mate i jsut wanna lose most of the fat froma round my belly so take most from there and after that take some from my thighs and under my arms.

IT DOESNT WORK LIKE THAT! a much better way to look at what to lose is find out your bf% please dont ask how but do a SEARCH once you have found or roughly found it find out what you want to be and then work out to get to the % approx how much you gotta lose lsets not be silly though losing 20kg im guessing your around 25-30%bf so saying i wanan get to 10% is only gunna shatter your short term.

Hope i ahvent scared you off.

Belmont is king when it comes to MT. Otherwise there is a downloadable list of foods on the web somewhere.

Cutting your night time carbs to almost zero might be just as effective...

thanks fellas Attn2Detail, appreciate the feedback you are right I want to loose over all it is just predominately on my gut, I exercise every morning for 30 minutes with relative intensity and then boxing in the evening high intensity so about 1.5 hours a day + weight training, I have cut my calorie intake by 1/3 and have lost about 5 Kg in the first month but now I have hit a plateau and have stayed the same weight for the last 2 weeks mind you I have put on a bit of muscle but I'm don't feel the inches shifting around my waistline.

I am strict with food intake during the day no problem, I get bad cravings before bed, I normally have an apple but I guess I'll have to push through them, I gave up smoking I can do this.

try cycling your calorie intake 5kg a month is a good loss per week without losing much muscle. drop your calories by 500 calories a day not 1/3 unless thats what it works out to. keep natural fats to 40-60g a day and carbs around 100-150 depending on your needed calorie intake this has worked for me.

Also try HIIT in the morning its much more effective than training at 80% for 30 min search it on here and youll find monutains of threads it hits you hard you burn more and it raises your metabolisim therefore burning more calories for the next day or two.

Try some ISOflex or PRO flex from bioflex nutriton on the forums for your mid morning snack after noon snack and 30min before bed this keeps your cravings away and keeps your metabolism working.

Hope this helps let me know how you go.

I'd say you have dropped too many calories too quickly. I'd 'reset' for a week and eat slightly higher cals or at maintenance as a minimum, then look to slowly drop calories over the coming weeks.

What do you eat before boxing training of a morning? What is your nutrition like around training times (so when you weight train and also evening training you mention).

Try cottage cheese or a micellar casein pre bed instead of an apple. Gives a great slow absorbing protein source whilst you are asleep.

Just as important to what you are eating, is when you are eating it.

In the morning I train on an empty stomach, then eat 1 hour later, normally yougurt/nat muelsi snack on almonds/tuna spring water, almonds apple before boxing.

I thought eating before bed put on weight, what other things can I eat before bed that will not put on fat?

have a casein protein before bed and some museli 20-30min before training instead of on an empty stomach and remember HIIT can be jsut as effective as 40-50min standardard cardio if done right.

With the HIIT what time frame, if I get to 70% of max heart rate for 20-25 minutes would that be enough?
