    Arrow Parasympathetic Dominant Diet

Well now that i have broken my fifth metacarpal and can't lift for a few weeks I've decided to attack the diet plan while my hand is out of action :(

so I've decided to try out my MT, ive done the test and my results

    28% SYMPATHETIC
    17% BALANCED
    54% PARASYMPATHETIC
    30% SLOW OXIDATION
    69% FAST OXIDATION

Your Metabolic Type has been determined as Parasympathetic Dominant

So i know is basically a lot of fat and a lot of protein but what kind of ratio should i be having fat:protein:carb?

anyone have any suggestions on foods with good fats?

i will post my full workout plan/diet for tweaking soon :)

Your macro-nutrient ratios should have been oulined in your MT report.

This ratio is a "reference point" only. You MUST customize your macronutrient ratio AT EACH MEAL to your body's unique requirements.

MT is a process. Use the Fine-Tuning Guidelines and your Diet Check Record. These are all outlined in your MT report.

As a rough guide it may be something like this:

    Carbohydrate - 30%, Protein - 40%, Fat - 30%

mmmmnup, mine made no mention at all of ratios. I'm the same type, so i'll just run with the 30/40/30 :)

What would you say is the breakdown for a Fast Oxidation Dominant?

    The same ratio applies.

Parasympathetic / Fast Oxidisers are both protein types.

Wouldn't you say the carbs a little too high? It says that Fast Oxid Doms in general need a low carb intake on my 'Report'. Correct me if I'm wrong. :)

30% is a low carb intake.

You also have to be carb conscious because of the fast oxidation. Thats why you should choose the correct foods for your MT e.g spinach, mushrooms, avocado, cauliflower, asparagus off the top of my head are all carbs that tweak your biochemisrty in the right direction.

I wouldnt drop it much lower than 30% as they are an essential part of your daily food intake but i certainly would choose my carbs wisely and aviod CRAP (Carbohydrates Refined and Processed), alcohol and sugars if you are a protein type
