back into without any rehab or treatment?

if icing and rest is the treatment then good luck...the problem is still there and therefore it will reoccur and probably worse

You have read what people have suggested but you said you have decided against professional treatment.

Your treatment of ice, rest, stretching and strengthening exercises is fine.....if that's what will fix your shoulder and not make it worse by assuming you know what is wrong with it and how to fix it.

are u sure their not partially retards??

I've also bought some heat cream & anti inflammatories. .. I don't really see the point going to a professional, when all he'll tell me is to rest it. which I will anyway.

You're right, all of us who have years of training and study and all our clients know absolutely nothing and you're the expert with your heat cream and ice and anti-inflammatories.......do us all a favour and don't waste our time next time you want to ignore us and call us all retards.

I see my physio even for minor joint/tendon ailments.

It reassures me. I can't lift 100% if i'm concerned that I may re-aggravate an injury. Moreover, if you love something, you should be willing to spend $40 to remedy injury and allow you to keep lifting.

Indeed, even seeing a physio monthly in the absence of injury can be worthwhile for a "tuneup".
