Hmm would go see a physiotherapist for an assessment, as hips and spine can cause leg length differences and Physio's are trained to assess gait & mobility injuries/issues etc.
TOTAL AGREEMENT WITH SWANS05 - YOU WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT IT BEFORE NOW IF YOUR LEG WAS THAT MUCH LONGER THAN THE OTHER (everyone has one leg/arm that is longer than the other, but normally its a minimal amount and isnt noticeable or cause any issues).
While orthotics will help if the leg length is the true reason for the pain, if it is caused by hip or spinal dysplasia, then the orthotics may temporarily mask the problem or make it worse.
Podiatrists are good at what they do, but a Physio can assess you from head to toe!
