You do realise that you are in for a huge fight with the doc to get them all done? That said, stand your ground. Just be well armed with the reasons why you want them all done.

True, although having said that; I went with a woman friend of mine to a medical centre the other day because she was feeling off and hadn't had a complete checkup in a few years. She took my list into the doctor's room and five minutes later came out with an order for all the tests. He asked her why she felt she needed all these tests and she responded with the script I'd given her and he was satsifed with that.

So yes, it is difficult, but not impossible.

LOL I thought you ment like a script as in how to explain to the doctor that it's within your right for these bloods to be done. For example you've told her when the dr asks why should i do these you have told her to say "because if you don't and i get very sick because you refused me a few blood tests i'm going to sue you"

Maybe, but at worst, estrogen should be there and SHBG should be there. I'm still stunned at the view of some doctors who won't routinely test estrogen with testosterone. Stupid.

Unfortunately that was the outcome of my last visit too.... Find a new Doc.... It's what I will be doing very shortly to test an experiment of mine...

Edit: Oh, and don't be surprised if you get the old "you're with the healthy range, so you're fine" response even if its quite low for your age...
