I'm just not strong... never have been. I'm deadlifting about 50kg's atm.. strict form... slow reps.
The row form is not great.
The form on all other exercises is very good. But my strength > size.
BUt I have totally platued. And I'm sure its the low testosterone.
I mean I consider myself a very hard and knowledgable gym goer (I have read shit loads and have made myself puke on squats before).
Ithought the overhead press was quite low.
And I wouldn't even know what it would be biscep curls, but with strict form I'm guessing 30kg only at best. Similarly weak triceps
omg man if they help you out tell me the doctor cause i need some help...
2 hours from melb... north east.
Ah ok
See my energy levels are so low its interfering with my working.
My GP knows I'm not talking ballshit and just hoping to get prescribed testosterone - since in 2005 when this started I didn't even do weights and was not buff at all.
I'm basically going to try anything to get energy - so I'm hoping that this will lead to testosterone (preferably) from some doctor or adderral (which I don't really want but would give a go). Adderral is basically speed but used for some people with chronic fatigued.
I think the side effects are worse than test though, but at 26, if ur life is becoming dysfunctional, who gives a fuck about side effects
bro i am not faking. i fall asleep talking to people, i cant even stop yawning through out the day.... my ex gf used to hate it she would be talking or i would be talkin and i would fall asleep part way through a sentence, same with my friends in high school... i used to do same.
Not that i'm recommending testosterone, but side affects can be mitigated. Alot of men have low testosterone and once they start HRT their lives change.
Ah dude I'm not saying ur faking it at all - I mean I assume there is no reason to lie to someone u don't know on the net.
But some doctors are skeptical I suspect. The endo who I ahve just seen is I'm sure skeptical about my motivations, whereas my referring GP is not for eg.
well my GPs and my endo and everyone else i seen are skeptical they keep commenting on how healthy i look.
WTF?
how does looking healthy have anything to do with energy levels, particularly mental energy.
It's absorb if u say "I'm depressed" no questions asked "what SSRI's would u want".
For chronic headaches, doctors have tried me on like 10 different medications, each without about 2-5% chance of success (according to the neuros) and some with quite bad side effects (topomax for eg making the users feel extremely dumb).
I can't see why doctor's can rely on heresay evidence of migraines/depression and not fatigue?
yeh they suck balls. they go on what you look like not what is going on inside.
mondo did u ever get ur test results back? My serum test is 12 nmol/L (or 200 approx pmol/L) which is just within normal limits (10-40 nmol/L).
Also just remember it isn't only testosterone that counts, SHBG is also important. if you had higher test levels and high SHBG it might be the same as someone with low test and low SHBG.. as far as my research has indicated... ideally you want higher test and lower SHBG.
