I'm assuming DHEA is quite cheap so I will definitely seek to be prescribed that.

    Thanks

We really do get ripped off in Australia. Not that this is too expensive but its all much cheaper in the US.

In what respect(s) did the DHEA make you feel better Take2?

The problem is that you can't import DHEA privately.

I did DHEA very early on after my diagnosis: primarily it was prescribed to help normalise my other major hormone levels. That it did. Other benefits included overall sense of well-being; better immunity; weight loss; reduced fatigue.......

Gents - Isn't it possible DHEA will throw the rest of your hormone profile out of whack? Or does it simply adjust them to where they should be?

I don't understand it in detail but DHEA can convert to other hormones, including unfortuantely estrogen.

I guess the point is I'd be jsut trying to have normal DHEA levels, not above normal

Of course adding any hormones can throw the rest of your hormone profile out of whack - eg potential convertion of T to E

DHEA can convert to other hormones (which initially you want)
    7-Keto DHEA won't

You need normal DHEA at the beginning to get balance back, then switch to 7-Keto until you don't need it anymore.

Hey simm here's some interesting data about HRT products i found it very interesting and haven't seen anything like it and have been trying to search for something like this for awhile now.

It's from a new campaign from bayer for gp's you can go to bayer and you have to register as a gp to get this info.

I believe they have got the data from separate studies by the looks of it.

Interesting graph. Well I didn't respond to testogel in this fashion, however, since my last test, I have applied the testogel in a different fashion (scrotum, forehead, jaw, upper arms) and appear to be getting better results. This was based on an article Take 2 sent me. I may get a retest soon - I'm thinking my T is maybe a tad (2-4 points) higher. I started using trib too though which could have added a point or 2.

It's nice to start progressing in the gym again.

On a side point, I have read that responsiveness to transdermals diminish overtime, as exogenous T damages thyroid output leading to thicker skin.

I haven't read all of them yet so if you find anything interesting post it up....

Hey sorry if I have missed this.

But why not just go with the sustanon injections?

    Why?

    1. They hurt
    2. Expensive unless PBS (which is very hard to get)
    3. Inconvenient
    4. Less stable blood levels.

    and so on.....

Hmmm... I guess opinions will vary. I'm going the sustanon route.

Fair enough, but if you're using it for HRT, then synthetic hormones are not the best way. Also, if you're using it for HRT, then it's a lifetime of use, so Sust becomes even less useful.

    Cheers
