    Snap crackle and pop

    More just crackle.

Ive been meaning to ask this for months and months but never remember until it happens.

Sometimes when lifting i feel a crackle in my muscle. Its not painful or uncomfortable in any way. Its usually my tris but the other day I felt it in my right forearm. I liken the sensation to those popping candy you eat. The stuff that crackles in your mouth.

    Any ideas?

Yes I get this too Rusha, like a stretchy/cracly type noise coming from lower tricep/elbow area but there is no pain.

I put it down to either cartilage or a ligament, unlikely to be of future concern.

Could be a culmination of fluid, like tiny little pockets of fluid or something? Just a stab in the dark.

I get exactly the same as what you described here, and again..no pain whatsoever...just offputting cause you are waiting for something to hurt. Its only when I do tricep extensions? seated and behind the head..

I get this too, I have always blamed my tendons or ligaments dragging over a bone or calcification.

My other theory is that it could be similar to cracking knuckles where nitrogen bubbles are bursting (cavitation).

Either way I don't think it is a concern.
