    Testosterone blood test

Went to go get my test levels done today as i will be trialing T-Bol a test booster from Perfect Body and want to get before and after blood work done for an in depth review, as always the doctors get quite upset when ever i ask for this, probably because things that people don't understand understand tend to upset them. well this is how the discussion went

Me: Hi i'd like to got my testosterone blood levels done, and zinc + B vitamins...

Dr: .... (with a confused look on his face.)

    Me: ....

Dr: WHY?? (in an arrogant tone of voice.)

Me: Because i'm an athlete that takes supplements and would like to know the chemical and hormonal make up of my own body!!

Dr: Oh........... (with a surprised look on his face like he wasn't expecting that.) well ok then. but i think you need to have testosterone blood tests done in the morning.

Me: mmmm? well also can i get free test and SHGB done??

Dr: ... (doesn't say anything and just keeps typing on his computer, then eventually prints out a the forms.)

Me: ... (I read it) it says free only free test done here what about the other ones? can i get them done.

Dr: oh well i don't don't know about those things so no.

    Me: "sigh" ok....

Dr: I'll ask the pathologist if it needs to be done in the morning because i'm quite sure it needs to be done in the morning.

    Me: ok...

Well you can guess what the pathologist told him (it can be done any time). Anyway i guess to my point there's not much respect for GP's on this forum and anyone can see why.

I've been to countless GP's and have been let down every time by their lack of knowledge and arrogance so can anyone recommend a GP in inner Sydney that bulk bills?? I've moved all over Sydney from west to east to city and still yet to find one

I was thinking great now i'll have to go somewhere else and get the tests done again but when writing this post i'm not sure if there would be any point as its all the same.

Do you guys think just getting free test levels done would be enough for a in depth review of T-Bol (test booster suppied by PerfectBody)

Mate if you have the forms before you get the blood done, get the doc to change it, insist on it being tested for:
test, free test, SHBG, IGF, estrogen, LH,FSH, TSH, cortisol, Prolactin,LDL/HDL, full blood count, liver enzymes.

They will do it just insist on them putting it on the form.
Do not let them take blood until it is on the form.

    Is all that bulked billed??
I went and got it done straight after the doctor walked me to the pathologist
but i'm thinking of going somewhere else to try get test, free test and SHBG at the very least...

Its really ridiculous they are very reluctant to give forms for anything.

so how many of you guys get bulk billed blood tests?

i was under the impression that you could get them BB if there was a reason for it, but had to pay for them if it was the individual that actually requested them?

(Dont mean to hijack Mike, im just curious)

I think it is up to your doctor to decide whether you are bulk billed or not
( don't ask me why pfft) I always ask my doc to check the little box saying bulk bill which she happily does... these are just normal check up blood tests, full blood count, liver enzymes, sugar, testoterone etc

Yea that's the thing i've been through more GP's than i've has hot meals they're all the same.

Maybe it's me maybe i need to be more aggressive and confrontational towards them, but i don't see that as being the answer....

    Hey Chris,

Im on the lookout myself - exact same circumstances - Bris southside.

And furthermore I too got a review bottle of Tbol and wanted bloods done beforehand (same as M1CH43L).

Not having much success. My last GP (my normal one - now to be my last GP) wasnt helpful at all either.
