    Finasteride and hair loss q's

Ive noticed my hair starting to thin, and instead of waiting around for me to go bald I want to tackle it and prevent it instead of trying to bring it back when its too late.

Should I take Finasteride while on a cycle? is this a definite solution to hair loss prevention as its a DHT blocker?

I wouldn't say it would prevent it completely, it may prevent it from getting worse due to the gear....

    depending what gear your using,

some gear will make it worse if combined with finasteride,

but yes,it will slow down the thining of your hair,

If you're going to use finasteride, you may as well add sebizole (generic nizoral) and Hair again (generic rogaine).

buy the finasteride overseas too, its heaps cheaper

And to make it a little cheaper, get Proscar from the doc and cut up the tabs.

I was reading up on Finasteride the other day, I'm sure I read that yes it does help with hair growth but once cycle has finished you will loose all the hair gained pretty quickly. Can anyone confirm that??

i agree on this one 100%, ive seen guys lost most of the hair in short period and in 3 months get most of it back on this combo... unbelievable.
on the other hand if u dont want to keep using it for ever dont use regain or minoxidil as when u stop u lose the results u got. so stick with the nizoral and fina or proscar. another combo or a natural herb can b used with same effect as proscar is saw palmatto "spell" ive read from about 2 years gr8 articles and how its used world wild for hair loss so a combo of saw palmattl and nizoral is a perfect combo that i would stick with on and off for a while and yes use em even if ur taking just test on its own or any androgen base since it can covert to DHT as when conversion start ur receptors will b very adaptive to it and there is no comming back unfortunately specially if ur using more every cycle too...

GTO, one day if possible, could you post up the evidence that shows Saw Palmetto and hair loss prevention linked together?
I have only heard from top doctors that it is useless?

    When you have time.
    Thanks.

Saw Palmetto definitely has some impact on reducing 5 alpha reductase, which is the mechanism that converts testosterone to DHT.
It is nowhere near as strong as finasteride but seems to be more tolerated by most and should have some impact either way.

I've heard a few people talk about it being safer, mainly as it is a natural occurring compound, I have always thought this was just a case of less sides due to a less powerful mechanism.

The tips about using nizoral and minoxidil are spot on, however watch an initial shed that could occur with the minoxidil. Some people have a bad reaction to the alchohol in it, which is why they much prefer the foam.

A better way to use Nizoral is the cream form - makes sense, once applied the ketoconazole will have much longer to take affect than a 2 minute shampooing.
