Please don't take this as expert advice, but from what I can see your waist/abdomen area is retaining a disproportionate amount of body fat. This CAN (emphasised) be an indicator of insulin resistance. You can get this checked out by your GP via a fasting glucose tollerance test (takes about 2 hours).
I'm not sure of your diet, but have a play with removing items that can spike insulin responses, most notably carbs and worse simple carbs. See how your body reacts over a period of time (min 2-3 weeks).
