Nice work soulweaver,
what are you eating whilst you are doing this plan?
Nice work soulweaver,
what are you eating whilst you are doing this plan?
morning 6 egg whites
lunch 300g chicken between 4 bits of bread with kraft 97% fat free mayo
dinner 300g chicken 1 cup of vegies, two bits of bread with weight watchers butter on it (1 portion per piece.)
I have a shake and 1 banana after work out, can be morn or afternoon depends on what I have on.
I also at some stage during the day either have a couple of weight watchers choc chip cookies, or peanuts, or more fruit. Depends on what day, and what is in the cupboard.
morn/lunch/dinner is my staple diet and I vary the rest of my calories, but in total I am eating between 1500-1650 calories
works out to about 215g of protein 60%
100g of carbs 30%
rest in natural fats. 10%
This is the first week at this level of calories, was on 2150, so i was eating peanuts, and other slow releasing energy foods, but have had to cut things out.
I also chew chewy during the day if I am hungry and want to wait longer before i eat again.
*pls note cookies are bad, but sometimes I just need a sugar hit. I am happy as long as I stay with-in my calorie range.
today weds 8th
rest day of sorts.
3km walk
6km on exercise bike. (15mins on hard setting)
another week, another kilo.
put on .3 during the easter weekend, makng me 91.5kg at the start of this week, and weighed in this morning at 90.5.
only 6.5kg to go until i hit my first target goal.
Nice mate, keep those smaller goals, smash them then work up to the overall!
cheers.
I will get progress picks up again soon
I hate myself, have gone over my cals by about 500-600 last two days. Been working in country and forgot my food :( over a hr to anywhere i can get 'good' food.
going to go mental tomorrow to try and burn some of it off, although hopefully my metabolism has improved so it won't impact too much.
Always be prepared mate, Tupperware is your saviour!
600 cals is nothing to worry about, bit of extra cardio will see you back on track.
Diet looks pretty decent mate!
Wouldn't hurt to add another 2 or so meals in there and make those larger meals a bit smaller but your still going to get rid of plenty of bofyfat with any calorie restricted diet.
As myst said TUPPERWARE!
I'd hate to leave my meals behind, I forgotten a meal when I've gone somewhere before but not like you didNothing a few cardio sessions won't fix
Yeah I went for a massive walk when I was away, and hit the bike last night when I was home, weighed today to see the damage and I am exactly the same weight, haven't lost any haven't gained. My weight day is sunday so I should see some loss now I am home.
I took my snack foods with me, but it was foods like chicken that was missing. I loaded the car up with stuff like my work gear and foods I could just pack without the need to put them in a esky or anything, then I was running late and was half way up the hume when I remembered.
I will work hard today and sat and see where I end up.
got myself to 90, so loss of half a kg. not a bed result considering my week.
Great work soulweaver - keep it up!
thanks mate.
has been really tough, never knew how hard this journey would be when i started.
It gets easier once you are used to the lifestyle. Eating meals on schedule will just be robotic.
Eat for the goal mate!
I've been cutting 6 months now, but I consider this diet a lifestyle change, so even once I reach my goal, I will continue to eat this way. Just a bit more food!
Soulweaver,
How confident are you with the accuracy of the cals you're eating?
I'm currently cutting and your diet looked somewhat similar to mine, yet I'm eating around 2,200 cal/day.
I'm quite handy with excel and I've made up a diet spreadsheet. I did a quick and nasty calc on the majority of your diet and I've calculated it to be around the 1900-2000 cal/day mark, excluding the mayo, cookies, butter, PWO shake, extra fruit etc.
I assumed that you eat 600g chicken breast, 3 whole eggs (approx 6 whites), 4 slices wholemeal bread, 1 banana, and 250g of peas/corn.
1977 Cal, 242g Protien, 135g carbs, 53g fat
As a side note, I've added a 'cost' field to my spreaddy. If you ate what I did the calc on, it would cost you $11.20/day, $78.40/wk, $4,076.80/yr
