    My weight loss challenge

I started my new fitness regime last week for the new year and am trying to loose as much weight and gain as much muscle as I can before August.

I have worked out my meal, supplement and exercise plan that I plan to use for the first 2-4 week and taken my measurements and before photos.

I am going to try and keep a record here as inspiration to myself and others and hopefully to pick up a few tips along the way.

I started on the 4/01 and so have my first weeks measurments to add today. I turn 28 this week and am 6ft 6.

    START

    WEIGHT 136.1 KG
    WAIST 47 Inchs
    STOMACH 49 Inches
    BODYFAT 30.3%

    11/01

    WEIGHT 129.3 KG
    WAIST 46 Inchs
    STOMACH 47 Inches
    BODYFAT 29%

I'm happy with this so far and hope to keep going like this for a few more weeks before slowing down and changing my diet, any tips and suggestions are most welcome and if people want to see my pastey out of condition body then let me know how and I'll post my Before photos and meal plan etc

    thanks

Hey mate we are on the same journey and have almost the same stats!

I'm currently 9 weeks into my cut, sitting at:

    6'3
    137kg
    Around 25% bodyfat
    46" Waist

If you don't mind could you post photos? I would like to get a bodyfat comparison. I have been measuring with Accumeasure but they put me at 20%, not quite right!

Big tim I am from the UK originally and off back there in August for a friends wedding and catch up with all the family.

Before I started I was doing limited exercise am now exercising 7 days alternating between cardio, upperbody weights, cardio, lowerbody weights etc.. For cardio I am usually on exercise bike for 20mins going full pelt. Weights I do 4 sets of various lifts currectly at 60kg for upperbody and 80kg for lower.

I will try and get the photos up at some stage tommorrow

i don't think 20% i right, 255 would be a stretch not that it matters

just a simple tape measurement will do at belly button level

bf% is only required once you're in the low teens, until then just burn the fat and you'll be fine

That's my current journal mate, has diet and training info.

Supplements I only use Whey Protein Concentrate at the moment, to get in all my protein for the day.

Here are my second week measurments, slowed down a bit as expected but still happy.

    11/01

    WEIGHT 129.3 KG
    WAIST 46 Inchs
    STOMACH 47 Inches
    BODYFAT 29%

    18/01

    WEIGHT 126.7 KG
    WAIST 45 Inchs
    STOMACH 46 Inches
    BODYFAT 29%

so -2.6kg for the week, I think I may still be eating a little too much protien but will see what happens over the next few weeks.

    Week 3 results are in..

    25/01

    WEIGHT 125.6 KG
    WAIST 44.5 Inchs
    STOMACH 45 Inches
    BODYFAT 29%

Another slow week but still pleased with the results, feel alot better than when I started but have recently became very tired in the mornings. Increased some upperbody weights to 100kg (chest + shoulders) and doing a 5km walk each night after work.

Thinking of introducing some burpees a few days a week but need to find correct method.

No such thing as too much protein mate!

Post up your diet so we can take a look. The best place to cut calories is carbs, and then fats.
