    Franco i have not done this Keto diet from lyle but have done his rapid fat loss. I found his forum very very usefull for specific information to do with his diets. Post over on his forum or the answers might already be there. Hope this helps you mate let me know how you go.

    Hey Dohes,
    Down to 98.4 as of yesterday.
    I feel like absolute shit today though as I've picked up a stomach bug that my wife and kids had a week ago.
    All I've eaten today is a smoothie with oats, WPC, eggs & banana.
    It's only a 12 hour thing, so back into it tomorrow hopefully.
    Visually very little change in my appearance except slightly more vascularity in upper body when I hit a most muscular pose.
    I'm finding my endurance is suffering a bit; can't punch out those last few reps; although I'm still pushing the same weight. I think I'll wind it back a bit.
    Lyle says not to try and duplicate weights normally used when not doing Keto.

    Sorry to hear mate, I had the stomach bug on wednesday & thursday and it wasn't pretty I'll tell ya that
    In terms of lacking endurance for those last few reps, this is common as the glycogen that was once in the muscles is obviously no longer there. On diets like these, caffeine and beta-alanine are my best friends. Do you supplement with these?
    Keep going mate, its not easy but you're doing bloody well so keep at it.

    I do have caffeine & I also take Bioflex's pre-workout Xtreme as well as Recover-X during & post workout.
    I'm going to go right up to Xmas; then have a few days off and continue in January. I'm going to get below 10% if it's the last thing I do.

    Well it had to happen. I had a rugby reunion golf day last Friday; which happened to coincide with carb-up day. I was as good as gold for most of the night, then, as you can imagine, things got a bit out of hand and I ended up having a thousand beers and as many bourbons.

    It's taken me 2 days to get over this bender. A bunch of us ended up at the the Cross and stumbled out of the pub at 6:30am on Saturday morning! Anyway, I'm back on track and thanking my lucky stars I didn't get alcoholic ketoacidosis!

    These things happen around this time of year mate, Dont let it get to you. I also bet you got pretty pissed fast, last time i dieted down i finished up then had a bender of a weekend to celebrate a mate of mine having his first child. I was pissed after the third beer.

    Hey,

    As you know I have just started Keto, and first week dropped 3 KGS, but as you mentioned I to had a XMAS party over the weekend, managed to keep to wine but the few Vodkas at the end hit me pretty hard. Man I am a light weight drinker.

    One thing i have noticed and I am not sure if this is Keto.

    1) Bad Breath?
    2) Really pugent Urine Smell

    I just recieved my KetoStix, so I will start testing tonight.

    As Newguy said, these are good signs you're in ketosis. Whilst the "aroma" can be quite overpowering, I actually don't mind it.

    Seriously? I've read various posts on how successful it is, I just doubt my ability to commit to it. Lord knows I need to something radical.....
