Hey Franco how'd your carb re-feed go? I'm interested to know what yours consists of meal by meal. Do you wake up every 2 hours and slam down a dextrose shake? I've been unable to do this in the past and this possibly could've been my downfall. You seem to be going very well so keep it going mate. Looking forward to a few pics.

The 1st weekend I made 3 meals of pasta, tuna and broccoli and when I got up to have a piss, I ate these.
2nd week I did the dextrose and shake thing.
This week a combination of the pasta as above with shake and a couple of banana smoothies.
Unfortunately I've got a birthday party to go to tonight and pizza is on the menu; which I didn't want.
I suppose one little break from the routine won't hurt.
It's just that you work so hard to get to a position and I know that the pizza won't be that bad, it's just that I'll feel bad eating it.
Hopefully pics when I get down to about 94 or 95. I have to have the shave then too LOL.
Thanks for your reply. Try not to stress too much about the pizza, just don't go overboard on it and you'll be right. I spose you could think of it this way- it'll make you have a kick-arse workout tomorrow due to the extra calories. Or if you're just doing cardio tomorrow, do a bit extra.
Enjoy yourself at the party mate coz its bloody hard work doing keto so you deserve to let your hair down every now and then.

It will be 4 weeks tomorrow since I started the diet.
Weight this morning is 99.3kgs; so this week no actual weight loss; however I look leaner?
I expected that being 500cals below maintenance that I'd be consistently stripping 1kg a week, so I'm a little depressed.
Does this happen sometimes?
I've been super strict with only a cup of broccoli per day as my carbs.
Last week noticed a little loss of strength and endurance.
Full body depletion workout is today, as I started the training cycle on Tuesday this week.
So, to summarise, down from 103kgs to 99.3kgs in 4 weeks. To those that have done keto is this good progress?

Firstly well done on your discipline thus far. I'm definitely no expert but I wouldn't be too concerned with dropping just the 4kg in 4 weeks. Yes, initially you'd expect to drop a couple kg's due to water, but the other thing you need to remember is that if you're doing keto correctly (which by the sounds of it you are) you'll have very minimal muscle loss. I guess what i'm trying to say is you may have actually lost 4kg of FAT and no muscle which is bloody good, so i'd be going by measurements rather than the scales. If your weight loss was more dramatic, there'd be a good chance that you'd be losing muscle with it.
Man I need to go back to bed, does that even make sense???

Just back from the full body workout - an hour of torture - I love it!
When I'm pumped, I'm definitely more vascular.
Whilst I'm not seeing dramatic changes to my lower mid-section, I'm seeing a lot more definition elsewhere which is encouraging.
I've always gauged my progress by my abs, so until I've got the 6-pack happening instead of the 4-pack I won't be satisfied.
