    Hey Dohes,
I read where Lyle says it's really important to ensure the carbs are clean and to keep fats as low as possible on carb-up. I only really did an 18 hour carb-up.
I'm doing 45 mins of cardio on non-training days.
    I'm doing chest/back Mondays
    Arms/shoulders/abs Tuesdays
    Wednesday off - cardio
Thursday morning cardio; Thursday afternoon - quads/hams/calves
Friday - whole body except legs
Sat & Sunday off - 45 mins of cardio
I was tuning the ketostix purple by Tuesday last week, so hope this continues.
Early days yet; however I'm really going to try and nail this.
    cheers,
    Franco
p.s. Seafood buffet this Friday, which happens to coincide with my carb-up.

If your doing a ckd then no carb-up is required as you are not depleting, you are running on low carb.

If you do strict UDL2.0 with a depletion and ZERO CARBS around workout/post-workout then a carb-up each week is essential!

This is where things can be wrong, replenishing carbs then re-feeding is double dipping.

I'm doing the the strict UD2. The only carbs I have pre & post workout is on my full body workout on Friday. Depleting with zero carbs Sunday to Friday.

    Hi guys,
It will be 2 weeks tomorrow that I've been on the keto diet. Have gone down from 102kgs to 99kgs yesterday morning. No loss of strength, plenty of energy and no hunger. Had a 12 hour carb-up from last night through to this morning. I thought I'd be missing the carbs but I suppose once you've got your blood sugar levels stabilised, you don't get cravings.
I'm loving the workouts that are structured around glycogen depletion; especially the full body depletion workout on Fridays.
Anyway, hopefully more progress lies ahead. I wanna post up that pic at sub 10%.

Only just into the 3rd week Mino. When I get down around 95 I'll see how I look and maybe post some progress pics.
I will be at sub 10% when I hit 90kgs.

Nearing the end of week 3 on the keto diet and very happy with my progress so far.
I've dropped almost 4kgs in this time.
I'm loving the way the workouts tie in with the depletion.
    I do the whole body except for legs on a Friday - almost 30 sets;
It' gruelling but you come away shattered and it's the best feeling.
Got these mad pumps in my lats after 2 carb-up meals this afternoon.
98.4ks this morning; this will go up to 100kgs by tomorrow morning.
My wife reckons I'm looking leaner, so that's heartening.
As I said, goal is 90kgs - sub 10%. Pics then.

Yeah Newguy. 12 weeks is probably the optimum amount of time you'd want to do a keto diet.
The great thing about keto as opposed to other diets is that when done properly, you can shed fat without too much muscle loss.
I think you'll always lose a little bit, but from what I'm seeing in the mirror, I'm not losing muscle mass; just bodyfat & water.
In my opinion, keto is the greatest fat loss weapon there is.
