Depends on height, weight, age, muscle mass.

Best option would be to eat healthy and portioned. Lean meats, greens.. Etc etc

She will see a change if she combines the two. Then you can worry about macros later on when body adapts more to that. Also use this time to trial and error caloric intake.

    Best of luck

Drinking lots of water, especially in the morning, helps as well. I always have at least half a glass in the morning.

    Hope that helps! :)

Yeah that. Same as blokes in that there isn't a magic number. Also depends on activity levels.

Only difference between female dieting and male dieting would be that females should perhaps take supps that support female hormones... Which they probably should anyway!

When it comes to real world calorie counting I believe it just doesn't work. People over and under estimate everything. It's also a pain in the arse!

Start with ~1.5 - 2g/kg Protein as the main goal.

If the goal is weight loss 50 - 120g of Carbohydrates a day should be plenty depending on how she feels / copes. If she gets rid of flour, rice, pasta, sugar, milk etc this should all help meet this goal faster.

If you are eating quality protein then fat should take care of itself.

Allow a free meal every 5 days. Dont cheat a little bit every day. Dinner is best option as you cant cheat for the rest of the day. I find rice, pasta etc better free meals for continued body fat drops than eating McDonalds. But it should also be used as a psychological break so meet those cravings and then get back on the wagon for another 5 days!

I'd also consider a fiber supplement as most people never meet their hydration and fibrous veggie goals.

    Nice work :-)

Keep to the basics and don't complicate things!

    Protein, vegetables and fiber.

    Female dieting?

I was going to make a joke about eating women. Then realised it was unintentionally dirty.

    ...

    Carry on.
