    Online Food Calculators

I did a search for this first and had trouble getting relevant results.

Im aware of calorie king - have heard of fitday but not familiar with its functionality.

Basically is there any website/software - that allows me to input a daily caloric goal, together with a macro % split or even get down to how many grams of protein/carbs/fat I want - and it spits out a daily meal plan to suit?!?

I find with calorie king - I have to search the database and build it myself. I just don't have the time currently for doing this (plus no PC at home and I can't go doing that on work time).

I dont know of any that punch out a meal plan for you although that would be great but I do use this site which I think is fantastic as it gives you nutritional fact sheets on almost anything you search for.

    Thanks for the reply craybasher.

The food database for Calorie King for example is also very comprehensive - but exactly that you need to manage each input and it takes some time to create.

I thought some really cool functionality would be to input your daily cals, your macro split - then wha la - here is a daily meal plan.

Doesn't look as though this is available however.

cmjk, i highly doubt you will find such a program that will build your plan for you let alone build one that is to your satisfaction. If deciding your plan is too much effort to do on a daily basis, perhaps put in a bit of work and write up a few daily meal plans in one go and rotate them throughout the week for some variety. If you are happy to do so even a single meal plan that can be repeated daily will allow you to hit your macros everyday without much variance.

Also I reckon that if you were to find a calculator that structured your meal plan I can bet you bottom dollar that it'll be advertising a shit load of products to replace your meals (Velocity diet !!! )

I use daily burn, and calorie king in combination. You can enter the foods in as a favorite so you don't have to search or re-ad food in. Because it is american I get all the info from the packet and check with calorie king, then enter my own food into daily burn.

you have to create it yourself, but there is a wheel that shows ratio's so you just play around with it until you are happy.

didn't like fitday, but people swear by it.

I honestly thought it would be functionality out there - surely you'd agree it would be handy?!!

That is exactly what I wanted to do Jeffuli - is have a few daily plans that fit my macros and rotate em round. I currently have two set up and its not enough! I need some variety im finding. I just need to find the time to build some more meal plans and I'll be right.

Was looking for an easy kill for a website/software that would do it for me.
