So Holly I'm an A+ as well - in terms of supplements is Whey protein off limits? The suspense is killing me and I won't be able to get the book until tonight at best!
Is it possible you could still consume WPI because almost all the lactose is removed??

Not sure Shammo. I just assumed it was a dairy product and to steer clear.

I have found a protein product called Nitrofusion - made by Arizona Nutritional Sciences.

Totally Vegan protein supplement - utilising Brown Rice Protein Concentrate, Pea Protein Isolate and Artichoke protein. It also claims to have the highest BCAA and L-Glutamine science allows. Quote - "Amino acid profile similar to mothers milk".

Contains no animal, dairy, wheat or soy protein.

    Interesting sounding huh?!

mate, i'm very much living the lifestyle now. i've got the food encyclopedia and only eat foods that are beneficial or neutral for my type. i avoid everything thats negative.

That includes all wheat products and chicken.

i feel good, and considering some certain circumstances am pleasantly surprised that i keep getting stronger at a time when i thought i wouldn't.

the real benefit of this diet will probably not present itself until much later in life when my immune system is stronger and i live longer. Yes i know, almost impossible to measure but i feel its benefits so far.

    Thanks for the feedback Dava.

Mate if you feel better for it then I think that's what matters. You may not know of benefits for years to come but at least you are approaching your diet with some structure. Who's to say that a "standard" or "modern" diet (if I can give a general diet those terms) is the answer to better health?

I have read bit about the diet you are on and it does make a great deal of sense to me.

The human race spent thousands of years segregated by shear distance and primitive forms of travel. These populations not only had a dominant blood type group (probably due to the segregation) but also a particular diet. Their diet was no doubt governed by their immediate environment and inability to store/transport foods any reasonable distance.

As I said, it makes sense that a particular diet would suit a blood type which was segregated for thousands of years. The "modern" diet has only come about in the past maybe 100(?) years and prominently more diverse in the past maybe 50(?) years. Due to modern transport (amongst other variables) it is not uncommon to have access to all manner of foods from all over the world. Who are we to dictate against thousands of years of humans adapting to their local environment?

    It's certainly worth a thought...................
