    Egg white available at Coles

    From the middle of June you will be able to buy egg white from your local Coles store.

    If they do not stock it, go to service desk and ask for item number 6751491 to be stocked then it will be available like any other item :)



    Description:
    Frozen fresh pure egg whites with no preservative or additives.

    Ingredients:
    Pasteurised Egg Whites

    Unit of sale:
    1 x 950ml carton.

    Storage & Shipping:
    Store below -18 ° C. (When thawed, store below 5 ° C and use within 4 days)

    Shelf Life:
    2 years frozen.

    Safeway also stocks "Cutting Edge" frozen egg whites.

    THANK YOU - I'm sick of wasting the yolks every day too!!!

    Will ask for them at Coles after June as I'm pretty sure you can't get frozen egg whites in Canberra currently

    Seriously they are nearly always sold out up there Ded hey. At least when I go. Is there a better day of week when they restock or anything?

    yeh.. just after I go shopping :-)

    They seem to only put about 3 on the shelf, but I rekon if we hit up the front end controller.. they will stock more :-)

    I Remember a mate i was training with was talking about a guy in canberra that ships egg whites in. Ill have to find out the detail and let ya's know.

    The ones I get over here are safe to eat straight from the carton, it even says so on the carton. Straight into the measuring cup then down the hatch.

    However the one mentioned in Coles says its meant to be frozen and kept at -18°. The ones here aren't frozen, just meant to be kept in the fridge and are good for at least a couple of months, sometimes three...

    i just buy cartons and have them raw.
