So, will we see more SMers at this show than last year? I reckon if you live in Sydney this is one show you don't want to miss: top MC (Tony Doherty), phenomenal guest poser (Phil Heath) and some of the best physiques in the country. I have already seen the boys who competed in the WA, NT and QLD and I can tell you, they look to be in great shape.
Over the years, I have found the IFBB nationals to be consistently the best amateur show in the country although from time to time NABBA also had some great national titles. But remember, this is the last bodybuilding show for the year so come and watch it.

    Myself, CM, CT, PD, Mino...
Who else? Come have a chat with us, sit and discuss competitors on stage and after all that, talk about the day over a nice meal.
    PM if you're shy

How's the under 80's for this looking... Will ange be competing? Will be a good rematch between him and QLD's Shane Butt. Any other well known competitors in this category?

Ange is competing, 99% sure anyway, Greg Dwyer should be up there as well & with Shane in the mix it will be a great class.
I wish I was going to be there.

I think Shane is has better balance physique then the other two... His legs and arms are definitely stand outs over the other two. Dwyer's chest gets lost on his frame but should be tighter come Sunday than he was at the QLD's and he is a monster for under 80kg. Ange's conditioning has been dialed right in and he has been crowned the champ before but his legs are still way to narrow for his body IMO.

    Awesome top 3 regardless!!!!

    Anyone have pics of QLD's?

Wish I could be there too :(

The QLD juniors winner took the Australian title too, how did you rate the line up everyone? Worthy winner or much competition?

Popped in this morning to say a quick hello to The Gift. He was very friendly and humble, took a couple of pics together, we chatted a little about training consistency and his placing at this years Olympia. He has a great fire burning inside and once he has the title I don't think there's anyone that can take it from him. He's a similar stature to me but looks like he has basketballs under his skin - exaggerated 'hills and valleys' just incredible. The best put together man I have ever seen. His condition too was incredible. I'll post a pic tomorrow.
