yeah absolutely... i was up early on sunday morning, so watched the pre-judging before the main show started live...

Phil looked absolutely 100% dialed in... phenomenal! He was the man to beat, i would have thought he deserved it.

Kai's back is quite dominating. But Phils conditioning was off the hook.... And his most muscular was insane!!! Both pre judging and on the night!

Theeos (or anyone that knows), how did you go?
What was your experiance like? Meet anyone famous? Arnold?
Was this the event that was done on the same stage as the Mr. Olympia contestants, ie; infront of the crowd?

He placed 41st. His write up is humble but it is an incredible result to be 41st on the planet for your chosen sport.

First event was 410kg Yoke then 120kg sand bag, both 20m. I had a shocker and only got 15m with the Yoke, never done a Yoke that heavy.
Then was 142kg log press. 12" diameter log. Only managed one rep.
145kg Farmers for 20m, the 105kg keg for 20m, the 120kg keg for 20m, did it in 55sec.
Stones, did 110kg, 130kg, 145kg all to 54", there were 2 more stomes but I didnt bother.

so finished 41 out if 49 in the world.

Yeah Tim posted for me, I have a better write up which I'll post later. I did this not long after the event and was shagged. I had the worst trip over there, no sleep for over 24 hours, crook stomach and only 4 hours sleep before the comp. Jet lag is a bitch. I lost about 5kg before the comp (i'd say alot of it was fluid) but the experience was worth it!
The whole festival is something to see to beleive, the who's who of Body Building was there plus MMA fittness etc. Saw alot of people that you see in the BBing mags. Just about all of them were doing autographs for peopel who lined up forever. Jay Cutler was there all day everyday signing and having photos taken with his fans. Dennis Wolf is a very pale man with out his tan lol, Ronnie Coleman was half the size he was a few years ago.
Ed Cohan (sp?) Lou Ferigo, Frank Zane all had their own booths.
I didnt get a glimps of Arnold but I was sitting watching a show and looked over to my left and saw a large group of people with cameras flashing, people on other peoples shoulders. It was Arnold!! But i never got to see him :(
If you ever thought about going, do it! There is so much to see! I spent some of my moring watching the High School Olympic Lifting champs. That was cool. Didnt get a chance to see much Power Lifting nor did I see much BBing. (missed a whole day due to sleeping for 18 hours strait. Did my comp then went to the pub. I never slept so well lol)

    Envious!
That's hard luck what happened to you before the show. I am lifeless with 4 hours sleep, mate. No way i would have the balls to do what you did in that state. You may need to arrive a few days earlier to settle into abit of a sleeping pattern next time.

The Arnold Classic is on the 'to do list' for sure.
Funnily enough, my main reason isn't to watch the event, but to see Arnold in the flesh. It's a must do on my life's list of things to do.
    Thanks for the write up.
