    Dennis Wolf sign's with Weider:

Shawn Ray explains some question's about his departure from Muscular Development:

"Dennis' Contract was up prior to the Mr. Olympia, he had Big Plans and held off on Signing his Contract until after the Olympia obviously with plans of granduer. When things didn't pan out for him like he expected, he exercised his "Options."
He will be sorely missed but we wish him well, as he stepped up to the plate and appeared last week on the MD Radio Show.
It seems there are a lot of changes in Dennis' camp from: Changing Residences, leaving Chad, switching Publishing Companies and figuring out what is best for himself and his Career.

It's nice to have choices, he seems to have made what he felt for him was the best decision for his career and we here at TEAM MD wish him well and thank him for his body of work!

All the best to the Big Bad Wolf!

    For the Record:

Dennis did not get "Dumped" by MD nor was he stolen from MD by Weider Publications.
He made a Business decision and we wish him well."

    WOLF SIGNS WITH WEIDER

Dennis Wolf inks contract with Weider Publications

    November 2, 2009

    FLEXONLINE.COM

Dennis Wolf signed an exclusive publishing contract with Weider Publications on Monday. The 31-year-old becomes the newest addition to an elite list of athletes on the Weider Publications roster.

"It means a lot for me," Wolf said. "It has always been my dream, since I was an amateur, to be a Weider athlete one day. FLEX was the first magazine to give me international exposure right after I won the [2006] World Championships."

The signing comes on the heels of a disappointing outing for Wolf at the 2009 Olympia where he finished out of the top 15 in one of the most shocking developments of the competition. The DNP came on the heels of two consecutive top-five finishes [5th, 2007; 4th, 2008] for Wolf.

"Obviously some things went wrong this year," Wolf said. "But I made some changes in my camp and will do things differently for my next competition. Conditioning was never a problem for me until the last two Olympias. I'm confident I will be back to where I was condition-wise but now I will be bigger and better too."

According to FLEX Editor-In-Chief Allan Donnelly, Wolf's disappointing outing at the 2009 Olympia played no part in the decision to sign Wolf to a contract.

"Despite his recent outing at the 2009 Olympia, we still feel Dennis is one of the top competitors in the world," Donnelly said. "We feel his consecutive top-five finishes in 2007 and 2008 are more indicative of his enormous potential than the aberration this year. We are confident that Dennis will re-establish himself as one of the elite and as a legitimate Olympia contender in 2010."

This man is on a mission. With weider behind him you may very well see him crack the top 6 at the 2010 Mr O after a disaster showing this year.

Agree with you 100% there - the Wolf has a lot of time left and will be sure to make top 6 in 2010. IMO, if he went for size only in 2009 (which it seemed he did, given the pics), he should've just taken the year off. Nevertheless, we've seen what he's capable of and no doubt he'll hit back hard.
