    FREE shakers

If any SM member comes to the stand at either Vic or QLD IFBB to say hello, ask for a free shaker. I only have a limited number of free shakers so be early. I was meant to have some free gym towels as well but unfortunately they may not be ready in time. If in QLD, ask for a free t-shirt as I may have one or two to give away. The irony is these t-shirts will only clear customs one day after the IFBB nationals in Sydney.

Cool, the wife will be happy with another shaker in the kitchen. I hope they are the large ones.

I have no idea which ones they are as I won't be there because I will be flying to Brisbane for IFBB QLD the following day. The guy who will be there did the packing so he's the only one who knows. I guess it will be a "surprise"

He collapsed about 10:30am and was taken by ambulance to the hospital about an hour later. They wee still doing compressions on him whilst wheeling him into the ambulance. His face was purple and about 15 minutes later when the show started again they said he will be OK. He had a pre-existing condition.

I saw him fall on stage. It happened about 5 minutes after I got there. He was doing his pose on stage with 2 other guys and appeared to lose his footing and fell backwards. He started convolsing and the other 2 competitors went to him, as did a couple of other guys. An abulance was called, then they asked if anyone in the crowd had any medical experience, makes you wonder why there weren't any medical staff there in the first place. One lady went on stage. After a few minutes I went out then they cleared the room a few minutes later. someone then came out of the room and grabbed a defibulator from the foyer and ran back in.

That put a downer on the show, I must admit being there by myself I was bored out of my brains. There were 7 stalls, I got a couple of free samples and my very own Protein Direct shaker. Once the pre-judging had finished they cleared the whole place, everyone had to go outside while they cleaned up and set it up for the main show. I'd had enough by then and went home before the finals.

Shame rajah, finals was awesome, and very funny.

Best wishes to gary and hope he gets better.
Rajah is pretty spot on, was horrific. Lasy that ran up was so small she was standing up to resucitate him. Scary scary stuff.

Day was very good for a first timer, also got a shaker :) thanks Guys. Bit bored and tired but that's ok.

Got my shaker yesterday, used it about 5 minutes ago and wondered way my hand was getting wet. Nice 2 inch crack in the shaker. Oh well, easy come, easy go.

zooyork, how did your greatest day ever turn out? I am still at the show packing up lol. The setting up was a breeze thanks to your crew. Much appreciated. I thought no way a uni student would wake up that early on a Sunday but to my surprise you did

Being so tired after the packing up I booked myself a two hour massage at the Hyatt Coolum (supposedly the best spa around). All I can say is those 2hrs were probably the shortest 2hrs of my life. The surroundings were great and the masseuse made me realise why that spa was so famous in the area. All right PD, enough of bragging.

I'll try and post some photos later today.
