So you must have started making tan when you were in kindergarten. Otherwise the numbers don't add up
I will be celebrating this December 10 years since I've been involved in the importation and distribution of protein powders.
Now I need to take the kid to school and then I'm off to Sydney for what I believe will be this years biggest bodybuilding event. I will try and make it to the weigh in this afternoon.
Good luck to anyone competing and if you're an SM member make sure you don't miss this one. It's going to be a great show. And if you're there, drop by my stand and ask for a free shaker if I will have any left so come early.
Also Rajah, sorry about the leaking shaker. I can assure you I had no idea it was cracked.
See you all in Cronulla.
Im looking forward to these pictures mino!
Went to todays comp at cronulla.
Hall totally packed out.
Minotaur and xtremist did well.I will let them write up how they went.
Some good physiques on the stage. Some big boys in the crowd, the creatine must be working overtime lol.
Well done to all competitors.
And i finally put a face to outlaw, nice meeting you outlaw.
Nice seeing you again MO.
boy, what a day it was,and what large lineups in each division,
i unfortunately did not place in top 3,stupid thing is they rushed the whole show and didnt give no placings for the other 5 competitors in our division,so 5 of us dont know what we placed,
they didnt even give us much time to hold our compulsory and quarter turn poses,
in my division, neil gardener(monster dwarf) placed 1st and man hes a freak, he would of passed and probably munch the 80kg division, hands down for him, if i get pics of him i will post, truly inspirational,
i will post my pics once they start coming through my email,
big congratulations to extremist, took 2nd in under 80kg,i think that was a 8 man lneup too, very hard decisions, and extremist was in an awesome condition, amazing set of wheels, definiately was much more conditioned at this show compared to march, well done mate,
for me,im so proud as i was in one of mmy best condition ever, and knowing i did all the work on my own to get into the shape is what really made me so happy, had nothing to do with my placing, just been up there for something you worked so hard for is truly inspiring,
only help i got was with my posing which was with mikes discounts, great work mike,
for now,its a 2 year break for me and starting to go through bulk phase as of today,
it was great catching up with m.o,protin direct and anthony, great bunch of guys,
and sizzler really made my day,if i can recall,it was 1 seafood basket mains, 2 full plates of pasta, creamy potato,wedges,2 plates of cheesy toast,a shit load of bread rolls and a large plate o ice cream and jelly,
i felt lke a pregnant woman,lol,
was great having m.o and pd there as mentioned they are a great bunch of guys and pd really knows how to keep the dinner table in suspense and always a conversation is there,
thanks guys so much and will def do it again,
now can wait to go check out the gp show in march, will all def catch up then,
2 photos of me backstage,
Sometimes it seems unfair mino. Some of you guys had no chance at a guy like gardner.
Maybe another 20kg of weight will help your cause mino lol.
its not unfair at all,
its more about been up there and been confident, its an amazing experience, yesterday i had never felt so happy in such a long time,
there was other people up there with terrible condition, but i guess its an experience they want to fulfil,
theres many people who can sit down in the crowd and comment and go on all day but do they have the confidence to be up there and experience the feeling themselves and go through what we do to get to where we are?? my opinion,90% of people wouldnt have a go at it,
Congrats Mino and exremist, it takes alot of dedication and balls to get up there on stage - as I've said before the outcome is not important, the experience of bringing it all together is what matters, well done!
This was the best fun i've had at any bodybuilding show to date.
From the atmosphere to the sell out crowd to the top quality of the competitors and all the way to the people i caught up with,
- ProtienDirect
- Mr. Chan..i mean Mr. Tan
- Mino
- Anthony
- Outlaw
- X-tremist
Missed out on a hello with Messiah. The 2 seconds inbetween your work yesterday was hard to find when ever i was near but top interview you did with Ronnie and his wife and on MC as always.
Scott, T2 and C_T...where were you 3 hiding?
Ron exceeded my expectations! Man that guy could fine tune his condition just that touch more and step on stage and be competitive right now! I never thought he would be looking as good as he did yesterday and it seems every week he is getting closer and closer to his old self. I smell comp plans coming sooner than the 2010 Olympia.
During his interview with Messiah/Tony Doherty, he left us all with a "maybe" in competing at the Aussie Pro 2010.
It was also good fun hanging with his cousin Marcus at times during the show. His laugh and character is that of a true Coleman family member. Funny bastard during Ron's interview with Tony Doherty, lol.
I was proud of both Mino and x-tremist. I'm not just saying this to make their placings seem better, but both line-up's (well actually ALL line up's that day) were bloody tough.
Although Mino does not exactly know what he placed as they were only doing top 3's yesterday, i can tell you going by the call out's that he was next in 4th.
X-tremist, i told him to stop training his leg's for about a month lol. Those things will give Ron a run for his money, lol. His leg training was apparently the stationary bike only and they still put on size! Your close 2nd place was a tough one.
Congratulations to both of you.
Was good also to spot a TV star in the audience from the TV show, All Saints on ch. 7.
Andrew Supanz plays the doctor, 'Bart' on the tv show. Chatted for a while about next episode (last episode ever on tv) and his future plans after the show.
Sizzler was awesome! Mino was possesed by some carb eating devil and PD is just the best entertainment to be around. Can't wait to catch up with hi in Melbourne again.
Oh, the Ronnie line to get an autographed photo!! Holy crap!
If you will beleive this - from the start of the show all the way to the end, actually even after the show had finished, Ron was there siging pictures! That's from around 1pm to 5:30-6pm non-stop and i mean NON-STOP sitting there signing autographs! At all times there was a line that lead out of the room! Just crazy popular that guy and in my opinion even more so than his last visit winning his Mr. O title for the 8th time!? Go figure!
I've missed so much more but that'll do for now.
Good catching up with everyone and an unbelievable show that kept me awake all day despite my 1 hour sleep the night before!
Pic with Ron:
Make the most out of every moment, every situation and never wait for the next time. It is almost always true that opportunity doesn't knock twice. You could put things off until tomorrow but tomorrow may not come. . .
