Probably another 5kg to go - don't worry it will come down and don't rush it at the expense of muscle size, upping the cardio intensity slightly and working on the posing will help. A tip that I recommend also is leading into the contest - keeping your abdominal area tensed throughout the whole day, may feel uncomfortable at first but will go a long way towards adding that nice detail to the area.
    Thanks Mick for the tips.

I haven't really lost any strength or any dips in energy with the exception of Monday when I went really hypo - I'm training 6 days a week with an hour of fasted cardio and 20 - 30mins of cardio post w.o. - feeling great
The weight has been a steady rate of 1kg per week... so I'm not overly worried

10 weeks out (sorry for the delay)

Just an update... energy levels throughout the day has dropped but I make sure I use all my energy for my workouts.

    I don't have a labour intensive job - so it's all good

    Thumbs up 9weeks out

You may noticed these pics have been cropped ... I have been posing with 2 of my mates (in week 10 & 9), who both are also competing with me and work with Vic as well.

Keep going Gook! Looking good mate, everything's shaping up well - you're getting into the business end of the deal - so not long to go. Keep positive and focus on the work at hand - one rep at a time. I don't know what arrangement you have or how you feel about it - but personally speaking having the other guys posing with you so close to a show - for me is a bit of a distraction and takes away from the prep.

definiately changes again in your pics gook, man, your facial expressions are hilarious,

posing needs more practice,as your getting tighter your looking sharper but the posing needs to be spot on to bring every fine detail out, thats the only hold back i can see,

have you started conditioning your legs?

also, like mick said,if i had to practice posing next to others it would do my head in,especially on the last few weeks,

keep up the good work man, keep the updates coming,

Thanks guys for the encouragement !

Mino & Mick: Vic and I have discussed my conditioning of my legs... it would seem that I seem to hold water in my legs, so I'm concentrating on mind-muscle connection during my cardio etc etc.
Hahah I'm trying to smile more, Mino!

I actually don't mind ... my mates and I give each other tips and feedback.

No problems Gook good to hear it dosn't bother you and that you're getting something positive from it.
I suppose everyone is different - if it was me prepping for contest I'd have the blinkers on fully focussed with no distractions and would expect total commitment from those involved in the prep.

Yeah, we keep each other honest and provide support - so it's never a distraction, I'm well aware that the only variable i have control is my progress and body - Vic is always quick to remind me this lol
Thank you for your concern, Mick

Gook, for leg separation - what really works for me is doing lunges with a light weight. Really sride out and flex the legs the whole time - it really brings out that separation in the legs, and of course shapes the glutes. Try 3 sets at 15 reps per leg keep the weight light - if done right you won't be able to walk properly.
